it looks like the young reindeer may have taken a wrong turn in his last flight and had somehow found his way into Halloweentown. Cloven hooves clattered against the pavement as he walked nervously about, trying to make sense of where he ended up.

“-and don’t forget to rest, Mayor!” 

The skeleton was leaving the Town Hall after a busy meeting. Even though the Town was on break from their annual work, there were still some things that needed to be done. There was a lot going through his mind.

So when he sees a reindeer wandering through Town Square it throws him off.

“I believe you may be lost, young one.”

Rudolph’s ears perked up hearing the voice and he just about did a doubletake at the sight of the skeleton.  “well it wouldn’t be the first time I got lost.” He said with a laugh.  “So where exactly am I?” he asked with a tilt of his head.

"Well, hello there!" Rudolph said with a smile, his nose glowing softly seeing the little mouse.

"Oh?" The mouse simply said, as she turned around to see the person er… reindeer who greeted her. She had never expected to see a reindeer to be greeting her! Savannah smiled widely at the sight, for she had encountered many animals in many different places, but never a reindeer! But… What was glowing on it’s nose? 

"Um… H-Hello! Wow… I-I’ve never met a r-reindeer like you before… Or a-any reindeer at all for that matter… Wh-Who are you?"

Rudolph took a few steps forward, his ears perking forward. "My name's Rudolph, Hi!" He said, letting his nose dim a bit.  "And I've never met a mouse as tall as you are, a first for both of us!  What's your name?"

Being an atheist is ok. Being an atheist and shaming religion and spirituality as silly or not real is not ok. Being a Christian is ok. Being a homophobic, misogynistic, racist, or otherwise hateful person in the name of Christianity is not ok. Being a reindeer is ok. Bullying and excluding another reindeer because he has a shiny red nose is not ok.

"Oh, it's actually you. All this time I was dressin' up like you to make kids laugh, thinkin you were some kinna urban myth. Rudolph is actually standing in front of me! Er, over me! How's the weather up there?"

Rudolph laughed at this and folded his legs under himself so he could be more Dale’s level. “Just fine, I see my reputation precedes me, but I’m afraid I don’t know your name?”

"Halloween is tomorrow!  I remember that time the King of Halloween, Jack, came to the north pole and tried to take over Christmas.  We're all on good terms now, but that was a really chaotic night.  Santa likes to celebrate Halloween now!"

WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

"I'm not a human, I'm a reindeer! But my earliest memory was of this pretty lady, she was the one who gave me my...unique nose.  It was to protect Santa.  Gave me a lot of grief, but in the end it was worth it I think."
