On the positive side, she actually found it cute ( even though it was a little cringy ). “That seems like a fair request,” a small chuckle escaped Xavier’s lips as he nodded his head. “The name’s Xavier, and you are? Hopefully, I’ll get to know more than just your name over coffee.”

“Good, I didn’t think it’d be too much to ask.”  She chuckled softly, a smile on her face.  “It’s nice to meet you.  I’m Juliana, friends call me Jules.”  She raised an eyebrow.  “Well don’t expect me to tell you my whole life story, but yeah, I think that sounds great.”

Teddy smiled as he turned to see his sister. “ It is pretty incredible. “ he agreed with a chuckle. He didn’t think he had seen any party quite this grand before. Not back home anyway. 

“Ugh, I know!”  She grinned, taking in her surroundings.  “I honestly never thought I’d end up in a place like this.  I feel like a princess or something!”

“Whoa, I didn’t know heaven was called San Fransokyo or that even angels could be transported to this place, guess it’s my lucky day.” As cringey as the pickup line may have been, Xavier had deemed it witty and clever ( most pick up lines he used were in his mind ). “I’d be happy to help you find that lab, I’ve done a lot of exploring around – of course, you’d have to return the favor by joining me for coffee.” 

“Aww, cute.  Totally cheesy and cringe-inducing, but still cute.”  Jules chuckled softly and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.  “Well, I do love coffee...  But I should probably know your name first, just to give myself some sense of security.”

“I mean, scientifically speaking we should have gone through a portal if we were going into another dimension, but I guess it’s possible that there’s another way...”  She thought out loud and shook her head.  “But at least it’ll be kind of easy to find a way home.”

“You say that now, but I think you’ll change your mind when you see some of my inventions.  Yeah, I work with machinery and I get it to do whatever I want.  If I find a hardware store or something I could show you sometime.”

“Seriously?  That’s... really surprising, actually.”  Jules’ brow furrowed.  “No,hey, don’t worry about it.  I’m sure I’ll find something if I look hard enough.”

Although he wasn’t entirely sure of the possibility, since Leota had never made any mention of it, an explanation came to mind. “Or maybe we’re thinking of the same city, but from two different realms.”

“What, like- like a multiverse?”  Jules’ eyes went wide.  “Of course!  I can’t believe I didn’t think of it before.”

“That makes no sense. We’re I’m from, it’s called San Francisco.” Aidan replied, scratching his head.

“Well I don’t know what to tell you.  Maybe we’re thinking of two different cities or something?”

“It’s a city in California.” The dark haired boy informed. “Probably one of the most popular cities in California in general.”

“Uh, no, that’s definitely San Fransokyo.  I should know, I’ve lived there my whole life.”  Jules crossed her arms over her chest.

“I’ve heard of California,” He started off, “but I’ve never heard of a place called San Fransokyo. Unless you mean San Fransisco and I just misheard you.”

“Uh, no, I mean San Fransokyo.”  Jules raised an eyebrow and tilted her head to the side.  “What’s San Francisco?”

“San Fransokyo?” Aidan wondered aloud, tilting his head in confusion. He’d never heard of such a place. He’d heard of San Francisco, and of Tokyo, but never of a combination. “Where’s that?”

“Uh, California?” Jules raised an eyebrow.  “I’m surprised you’ve never heard of it, it’s huge.”
