The bubbly classmate of hers was someone she could never forget, and would hope that she would enjoy these baked cookies that appear heart-shape with a little note on them. 'Happy Valentine's Day. We need to find a day for all of us to go out. I hope you enjoy these.'

Yaomomo always went out of her way, huh? Even for a gift between friends, she always outdid herself! And the cookies were so nicely done and equally delicious!! Ah, such is the charm of a high-class lady and Uraraka felt honoured to be on the receiving end.

 “You need to teach me how to make these, they’re so good! Should we make some for the teachers and our classmates here? I owe them a gift!”

[ ⨉⨉ –– ]  The shrill cry of the Hollow echoed throughout the district (District 4) – what had been a young male was suddenly a monster, one of sheer terror and great destruction. There was no speech involved with the creature, its only process was pure chaos, destruction and death.

[ ⨉⨉ –– ]  Long orange hair swaying as the hulking form moved, its white body a sharp contrast to the dark buildings and fleeing humans around it. Moving a clawed hand it ripped some people in half, others dashed to the ground severely injured.

[ ⨉⨉ –– ]  Lifting its head, the creature gained an influx of power at the horns of its mask. The power turned into a blood red ball of energy - a Cero. Said Cero was then fired at a building, causing a massive explosion and debris to fall from where the impact hit.

[ ⨉⨉ –– ]  People screaming, some crying out as they lay dying, the beast cared not about any of it. Decapitating humans with a swing of its arms and its maw opening in another cry, surrounding people who were fleeing had to cover their ears and writhe on the ground.

Sparkles and rainbows, bright and dazzling colours shading the skies -- such was the power of a girl in love. Sometimes that is not enough to prevent catastrophes from occurring. Sometimes, a wish alone cannot bring salvation. But that’s why heroes existed. Impulsed by that wish, they may be able to achieve that change.

No matter if her heart was about to burst, confusion blinding her thoughts. Her quirk of little use now but a new power had been granted by the very feeling she held for a certain someone. Power that cannot be rivalled even in times of crisis! 

“L--L--LOVE BEAM...!” 

Struggling in chanting her newfound ability, Uravity aimed right where the chaotic villain was. Hearts, glitter and stars scattering through the linear pink beam and while useless in appearance, carried with them the great and overflowing love of a high schooler’s first love. 

She will not be defeated that easily!

“Oh don’t worry. I don’t eat people.” It was a casual point of reassurance that was bizarre in the sense that no sane person would need to say it. But Zero Two closed the distance between the two and leaned in to the other girl’s face before withdrawing. For a moment she had the kind of expression a wine taster might have. She was trying to describe the flavor.

“Hm. Fluffy.” What did fluffy even taste like?

Taking a bit of comfort from the reveal won’t be bad, given how odd this girl was. Squeaking from surprise, Uraraka took a step back -- recovering a regular distance between her and the pink-haired girl was a must after such an abrupt approach. 

“F-fluffy....?” What a way to describe her, but it was better than round face. What came to her mind was a marshmallow. “A-at least let me know your name before you taste me!” That made no sense!!!

“I guess that’s true. That bar of soap I bet into that one time wasn’t very good.” She’d say it was a long story but she was actually just tasting it out of curiosity like she did most things. “Most things are more delicious cooked but nourishment is sometimes more important than taste. On that note… how do you taste?” 

“Please, don’t try any of that again.” Health reasons should go above curiosity. “W-what!? I... I’m not edible and I doubt I could be enough nourishment for you. Uh, just don’t eat me...”

“They’re for laundry, they have detergent inside.” But why did she separate herself from humans? “Fish is food! So I guess it’s okay if you don’t get sick? When you cook it, though, it can taste ten times better than raw!”

“Aizawa-sensei mentioned you were in the city too.” What a way to greet, but being overly excitable may give a wrong impression -- she wished to show both relief and happiness, brim in these feelings that constantly overflowed in her heart. Working together for the sake of protecting those in this city and hopefully leaving was the main goal, no matter the odds.

“Hello, Deku-kun! Surprised? I’m looking at the stores in the shopping sector! Maybe someone will hire me!”

Debris and calamity spread across sector oo1. Even when this was a place that housed many people ( excluding arrivals like her ), there was no regard for the safety of the civilians. Little did she care about finding shelter of her own, that was for later. Her resolve was firm and her desire to help people was even stronger than before. But it was easier said than done, she had no barely the means to help.

A gleam of hope appeared in the form of a mentor. Recognising one of her own was a given and this time, she wasn’t going to fumble alone and struggle by herself since the beginning.

“Thirteen-sensei! You live here too!? I-- what happened here!? Is there anything we can do?”
