Challenge Failed - Set counter back to Zero

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to do the challenge properly last time due to personal problems.

I started studying again and am doing my master part time. Meaning I have to go to school every second saturday and have to learn for exams again. -.-’ Yay... Next exams will be begin in February.

And I have a relationship again. So I want to spend time with my significant other. On top of that I started Kick-Thai-Boxing again. >.<

I have to look If I can really finish this challenge this time. But I want to improve! And I can’t do that if I don’t try

Week 2 over

Week 2 is over and unfortunately I didn’t have a lot of time to draw. :(

But I’ll have 2 1/2 weeks of holidays starting from Wednesday on. Hopefully I’ll have more time for the challenge. But I want to use the time as well to prepare for possibly two cats  and an upcoming convention.

Week 2: Recap and Time management for the challenge If you really want to do this 52 W-AC you’ll need time! So write down your general appointments throughout the week. Try to consider everything. Going to school or working? Having other hobbies or weekly meetings? After you wrote down all your appointments, you’ll see where you have free time to devote to the challenge. Try to reserve at least 1 hour a day.

Today i had the time to buy a wrist protector. I wonder if it'll help me while I’m drawing.

Week 1 is Over!

week 1 - day 7

My first week of the challenge is over. And I thought I would have the time to work on my mint dragon again. But somehow i forgot him :(

This shows how important it is to manage your time!

And my wrist started hurting a little bit. I’ll be going to a shop tomorrow to look if they have casts that I can use if I am drawing. The problem is, that I have a desk job with 8 hour of computer work. It means my hand's been stressed the whole time. Probably drawing on the PC won't help it in terms of health.

I don’t really like how the shadows on the body of the dragon look like. But I like how the fur turned out. Maybe I’ll to improve it on the weekend

I couldn’t draw yesterday, because I got home very late from work. I was so tired that I only fixed myself something to eat and nearly walked straight to bed. Today I had a friend over. But I still wanted to at least color it. This dragon looks like a mint ice cream right now.

I changed a few things. Especially the back hair/fur of the dragon. When I tried to lineart it, it looked so strange that I redid it. I think it looks better now.

Next steps will be coloring.

I decided to draw a dragon, because I think that I’ll like dragons in a year as well. I drew for round about and hour. And I like how it turned out so far.

52 Week - Art Challenge

This will be my own 52 week art challenge.

At each end of the week I want to give something like a status report. What went good, what was bad, where did I have incidents and what could I do better for the next week.
