Kas leans back frowning at his sister. “What? Kaede I’m your twin of course I know who you are.” He shakes his head. “Oh please tell me you haven’t done anything illegal this time..”

“Oh, Kas!” Kaede says brightly, trying to seem innocent. Normally, she would have recognized her twin from the back, but she’s kinda in a bit of a rush at the moment. Running from the cops can distract a girl sometimes, especially when she’s also focusing on keeping her powers in check. “It was a total misunderstanding,” she promises him, blatantly lying.

Jordan had been exploring the school, incapable of falling asleep. He flew up to the rooftop and laid there, staring up at the stars.

Kaede pokes her head over the edge of the roof, still floating in mid-air. She’d been out for a midnight flight when she’s seen Jordan landing on the roof, and had wanted to talk to her brother. “Jordie, hey. Why are you still up?”
