I thought that I’m unsuitable for a Japanese lifestyle. In Japanese educational system the idea that you have to be like others and can’t stand out from the crowd is very strong. My teachers told me that too, but I didn’t understand. I had a weak side - why do I have to look like others and live with the attitude “all go to preparation school, so I need to go too".
