Dead Excited that Escape From The Law of Octaves will be shown @whitechapelgallery on 27th Feb 2020. The work is a performance and moving image piece illustrating one persons journey through gender transitioning. Shot in a single set where I play every character. Here’s a little behind scenes shot by @londonfemme . The work references mythic symbolism and follows the structure of traditional fairy tales. @themolluscdimension made the sound scape and music for it.
