One night it stood outside the window.
And then it never left.
— The Night Visitor.
From the notes left in a recorder, that was property of Professor [REDACTED], is that we could get any insight about the contents of the stolen box.
Here are the two most prominent transcriptions of the recordings:
[...] it was in the summer of [REDACTED] that we arrived at the entrance of the ruins. The fabled city of [REDACTED]. It mattered not to the locals that were hired as workers for the expedition, they wouldnt set foot past the ruins’ entrance. Thats the reason that only Dr. [REDACTED] and myself went inside the ruins on our own. [...]
[...] and so, we found it. At the end of the cave. It was not an altar, but a prison. Something we should have left buried in the sands until the end of times. At the center stood a cross, the same way that Christ died, but instead of Jesus there was the horrid corpse of something far more ancient and vagely human: shackled and chained, with gargantuan iron nails driven throught it...
The Angel of Plague.
Dr. [REDACTED] started making sketches in his notebook, until further advances, these drawings are the only proof of what we encountered.
We will need some foreigners to unearth these remains and transport them to the laboratories in [REDACTED]. [...]
Its the Man with Light Eyes, mommy!— Said little Johnny, pointing his little finger to a particularly dark corner of the closet.
Margaret didnt like it, she didnt like it one bit... but, being the only adult around, she had to settle with a “theres no one there, honey... just try and go back to sleep, ok?”
The lights went out again, and Margaret left the door a little bit open, just to be sure, you know? She didnt like that dark corner in her son’s room. She went out a little bit uncomfortable.
—you could at least say something— said Little Johnny, when the two dots of light showed up again, looking at him from inside the closet.
