One of the most under appreciated MCU Spider-Man clips is the one where Happy is lowkey mocking Peter for it being his first time on a plane because he’s so annoyed by the fact he has to watch this hyperactive enhanced child and all I can imagine is the eventual embarrassment once he gets the run down from Tony that his ward was literally orphaned via plane crash.

Let Lance be more angry in your fic. Let him be absolutely pissed at Keith, for all his lone wolf act and how he returned more mature, but also more emotionally distant, who act all mighty and high and dismissed him.

Let him be more angry at Hunk and Pidge for how they view him.

Let him be more angry at Allura for how she seemed to choose him only after Lotor's betrayal, and treat him like a replacement.

Let him be resentful with Shiro , both for the clone's thing (not really Shiro's fault but you didn't have to be reasonable, but to show the consequence) and for how Shiro didn't really care for Lance, always siding with Keith.

He deserves to be angry. Let him be!

idk man i feel like Lance would make jokes about the fact that he died and that would be how everyone (minus allura) would find out.

Like assuming Allura never told anyone, but Lance thought she did and they just didn't care —hence why he never directly brought it up (langst core)— Lance would just go "fuck it" and cope by making jokes at the most (or least) opportune times.

I mean, imagine after the whole gameshow thing and they wake up and the first thing Lance says is js "Man that dream might have actually been worse than dying. At least death wasn't ragebaiting me."

And everyone is confused, maybe mildy horrifies thinking "what the fuck does that mean."

But then they have to move on and go do some world saving shit. Except it stays on the back of their minds, and some time later it happens again.

It's a day off, and while getting breakfast Lance stubs his toe and goes "Fuck what the hell, even death hurt less than this shit." Then just goes about his day, slightly bothered and swearing about stubbing his toe. and the team is js:

"what the fuck does that MEAN"

The next time it happens, it's when they're off to fight, and the odds are kinda bad, to which Lance responds, looking dead serious: "If dying has taught me anything, it's that you do it for the plot", before he goes off to get ready and consequently leaves his team wondering how the hell to respond to that.

and it all just. KEEPS. HAPPENING.

No one knows how to bring it up, and theyre losing their mind because for the love of fuck what does it mean? because it sounds like Lance is implying that he died, but he didn't... right?
