The cameos from Team Gai and Team 7 work really well, as do their discussions about their dads. It’s a beautiful exploration that feels canon.

impressions:

A nice, fluffy hurt-comfort piece set back when Kakashi was in Anbu. It was great to read something so cute and sweet set during Kakashi’s darkest times. It explores Kakashi’s state of mind towards being himself, and Gai is so loving and perceptive.
