Kakegurui fanzine preview
Since I’m done with my Kakegurui illustration for Deal with the Devil: A Kakegurui Fanzine (which was arranged by @kakeguruizine) for a while now, I decided to post some previews of them.
I gotta say that I really outdid myself this time. I’ve never worked so hard and so tenaciously with an illustration before and usually I’d want to finish an illustration within a day, but not this time. It took me days to finish the first illustration and took me weeks to finish the second one. I’m so glad and proud to join this fanzine, getting to meet and chat with other artists and writers. Thank you so much guys for making the experience fun and anticipating.

I noticed that the characters from the Election Arc (i.e. the new characters from season 2, like Terano) were mostly absent from the form. Is content of them allowed in this zine?

We originally created our application forms under the assumption that the majority of applicants mostly followed the anime/wished to create content of characters that appeared in the first season. However, if you would like to include some of the newer characters/manga-only content in your piece, just let us know and we’ll be very flexible! We assume that some people may also want to switch gears partway through the creation process and add more characters as the anime updates and more content is introduced, and we’ll do our best to accommodate whatever time is needed for those changes.
The applications themselves were mostly created as a starting point for brainstorming, but feel free to propose any extra ideas as long as you run them by us first. The more the merrier! 💕
