TRAITS:
+ Compassionate, Clark’s as compassionate as they come. Maybe it was his upbringing with the Kents that instilled this into him. Either way, it makes him a wonderful person to reach out to, he makes you feel comfortable right away.
- Naive, For everything that Clark is, he can be very naive to the world around him. He’s stumbled into situations where it could’ve done different if only he was fully aware of what was going on around him.
- Hypocrite, Some times he doesn’t practice what he preaches, therefore it can make him come across as an hypocrite. Signing the Accords is a massive example of this.
+ Optimistic, Despite the way the world is, Clark remains optimistic about the future of mankind. If he didn’t stay optimistic, he would let things get to him too much.
- Complacent, Let’s be honest here, Clark can be a bit of a smug bastard some times. He’s very aware of what he’s doing.
+ Respectful, His upbringing has taught Clark to be very respectful of the world around him. There’s different opinions and views on social issues and while he doesn’t make the best decisions some times, he tries his best.

DID THEY SIGN THE ACCORDS? WHY OR WHY NOT? He did sign it and it was because he thought it was the right thing to do and never imagined for it to split the League the way his choice did. He regrets in immensely.
HEADCANONS:
He should earn his place among the Nomads, prove himself to be a worthy ally again to have on their side.
After signing the Accords and the League splitting up, Clark returned home to Smallville to work on the Kent farm while he reflected on the biggest mistake he’s ever made. He also spent this time not being Superman for a bit.
Still writes for the Daily Planet, just online now, submits those stories over email as he can’t be there in person.
Does not live in the Mousehole, he lives in a small house he purchased out in the Sokovian countryside.
WANTED CHARACTER CONNECTIONS: Diana Prince, Bruce Wayne, Lois Lane, Oliver Queen, Barry Allen, Victor Stone, Arthur Curry.
POTENTIAL CHARACTER ARCS: I’m never good at this part but I really want for Clark to earn his position among the Nomads, not let it be given to him. He knows what he did to betray his ex team mates (and friends) and wants to make it up to them.
BIO -
You know the classic story of an alien who fell to Earth back in 1989 and crash landing in the fields of a town called Smallville in Kansas. He was found by Martha and Johnathon Kent who decided to raise him as their own child but kept the origins of his appearance close to their chest while he was growing up. All the adoption papers were passed through the system with the help of Lionel Luther, everything was kept very secret for a long time.
That was until his powers began manifesting, first it was his super strength (which came in handy around the farm), then it was his super speed and everything seemed to slow down for a long time, until he started to get headaches and began to hear voices from a distance. From there and throughout his puberty, lots of things around him changed and the Kents couldn’t keep it a secret any longer. Their son was from another planet. That’s where his journey to discovering who he was began.
After graduating from high school, Clark left Smallville for Metropolis to work at the Daily Planet as a journalist, one of his lifes passions he had discovered by pure accident at school. It was just a small sports column, nothing to shout home about but his desk did give him a great view of Lois Lane, the sight of her always made him smile but he could never approach her properly and became awkward around her every time he tried. Metropolis wasn’t without its issues though and he was trying to be subtle about it until someone published ‘The Red and Blue blur’ in the Daily Planet.
There was no point in keeping it a secret any longer and he allowed Metropolis (and the world) to accept Superman as someone who had been sent here to help. Some see him as a God, to others, a nuisance. It would depend on who you talked to. At least the world knew Superman, Clark Kent however, was kept a secret, no one ever connected the dots until Lois.
After his encounter with Batman across the bay in Gotham, Clark swore to himself that nothing would ever happen like that again, not to Martha, not to Lois, not to anyone else in his life so he agreed to form the Justice League with other like minded heroes. Everything seemed to go swimmingly... until the Sokovian Accords. Damn Avengers.
That’s where everything began to go down the drain, Clark naturally assumed that the Justice League would agree with him but that wasn’t so much of the case and caused a big fall out, everyone splitting off on their own. Signing those Accords must have been like signing his life away, the ISA (and LexCorp) had Superman in the palm of their hands.
Retreating back to Smallville after the fall out, Clark hung up the Superman mantle for a while to help his mom out on the farm which had been in danger of being closed by the bank but after a lot of time and effort, the Kent farm was back in business. Months passed and a small niggling feeling sat in the back of his mind, he shouldn’t have betrayed his friends like that. A quick trip back to Gotham told him everything that he needed to know, Bruce Wayne was on the move but... to where?
That’s how Clark has ended up in Sokovia, it’s a world torn apart by war and it makes his heart ache.
