Believe it or not, this photo was rejected by Adobestock due to “grain/noise”. However, it was accepted at Shutterstock for sale.

One more from the archive. Again, this was photographed in October, 1980 and was probably one of the last runs of C&O Railroad’s No. 614.

A couple of photos from the archives. I shot these in Harper’s Ferry, WV in October of 1980. This is one of the last times that this steam locomotive operated. My understanding is that it is in permanent storage in Clifton Forge, VA.
