Repairs-The Shadow Magus Is Back?
Rowyn bit his bottom lip as he stared at his home, a few months ago the Alliance tore through Tirisfal Glades and shattered the land with armies, even hitting his house, although it was hidden quite well, mages had broken though his barriers and his home had been destroyed. He had forced himself to go back to Silvermoon where he made amends and once again became Magistrate. He had made his undead that stayed with him help rebuild, using magic to get his home back in order quickly and promptly with his trustee Alchemist Ezzy. Rowyn now stood before the construction that was happening and bit his bottom lip. “You know the Alliance still linger on this land.” Rowyn waved his slender hand. “If some of them know better than to mess with me they wouldn’t. Especially because I am Magistrate again.” Ezzy’s golden eyes lingered to Rowyn and shook her head. “Does it really matter? With situations between them?” Rowyn grinned. “Well than we will put up a fight now won’t we? However I still have Alliance friends who owe me debts.”

There was an unusual calm around Brightwater Lake. As the moon rose into the sky, it reflected perfectly on the water and illuminated the area. Moonbeams pierced through the sparse trees along it’s east coast where a large figure kept to the shadows. Treading carefully across the slick leaves and mud that covered the ground with noticeable speed, it would occasionally glance the light where its dark edges shimmered violet and deep blue.

As Rowyn finished putting the last of his encantations up. He noticed over yonder an elf just across the way with a wolf not too far by. “A hunter?” He murmured and stepped out from the barrier to look carefully at the two, his right eye enchanted would act like a telescope for his sight, the other eye closed. “Hmmmm…” He pondered as he looked back towards the his home and would scratch his blonde chin. The elf sporting a goatee and long braided hair tied around his neck like a open scarf. He sighed and would push his hair to hang behind him. It seemed for a moment he himself looked like he wasn’t supposed to step outside his own boundaries of his home, but looking forward now the elf would nod to himself and look forward to where the huntress was and chuckle at the catch she had killed.

Her breath escaped her and she whirled around at the first words he spoke. It wasn’t as though she hadn’t expected someone to appear at some point - just not this quickly. She reached a gloved hand back to retrieve her weapon once more until she realized he was not only speaking Common, but thanking her. Her pale blue eyes searched his own with a furrowed brow and, for a moment, she lowered her guard.
Yet his words became increasingly biting. Her jaw clenched at the mention of the Kaldorei’s homeland and just as she was considering a return to her weapon, he declared himself a Magister. Not unfamiliar with such terms, the violet hue in her cheeks drained further and she hesitated again. His invitation echoed distantly as she weighed her options.
“If your brother is indeed like me, you could assume why I’m out here,” she returned in a more familiar tongue, “I hadn’t thought there would be much to report past a few murlocs. Seems I was wrong.”
She brought one hand up and ran her fingers through her plum-colored locks while the other settled on her hip. Removing the hair from in front of her eyes with this, she turned slightly and looked over to Falore. Obedient to a fault, he paced anxiously from where she had left him. She gave a quick whistle and the void-touched wolf broke out in a sprint to close the distance between them.
“Not sure we have much of a choice,” she whispered, kneeling down and scratching around his ears with both hands for a moment. The huntress then turned her attention back to the man and spoke up once more, “We’re friendly enough, assuming our company is as well. Though it does seem a bit odd for someone like yourself to invite someone like me to their home.”
Rowyn only kept his friendly face, his shadow magic danced around his weapon but he never touched it once. Listening to her words and only grinned more to the hint of surprise when he spoke. He raised one arm to scratch the side of his head, only to put his arm back down moments later. Looking to the Falore when it came to her side and smiled softly. He raised his jade eyes back to the Alliance elven and nodded once.
“I am rather friendly my dear and I only hope my servants do not bother you.” He turned around and would go through the invisible vale which would open up to him, and if Kaltrise saw there would be a big house facing off to them in the distance. The side of the house having construction going on due to what she could tell was repairs he was doing. If she followed after she would notice his servants were the foresaken.

After initial hesitation, the huntress began to trail after the mage. Her better judgement seemed to be drag out her pace though she had yet to observe a better option. An idle hand had found her companion’s ear for a calming scratch as she took in her surroundings.
It was odd to see mostly Forsaken working with a Magister but then, she reminded herself, they were Tirisfal. Her gaze settled on the two individuals who stood out among the crowd and blinked in surprise as he introduced one as his son. The whole situation seemed bizarre to her but, then again, she probably appeared strange to them as well. Void elves weren’t exactly common and were generally frowned on by the Sin’dorei. She imagined that the sentiment was shared by their allies.
His final words pulled her from her thoughts. “That’s more than others can say,” she countered, soft but firm. She did not want to be too combative, of course, but there were many more that could not claim as much. She had seen the heartbreaking remnants of these battles. “But you’re right. All of this has become… disconcerting.”
She bit her bottom lip to avoid voicing any further opinions. With such a peculiar individual, it was hard to determine where exactly his loyalties lie.
He simply nodded and would smile, gesturing through his home that was under construction, he would welcome her in. The home was rather big on the outside but inside did not do it’s justice. In fact the home must have been influenced by magic on the grounds that there were several floors above them with a grand staircase. “It is easy to get lost in my home. Although I was always intrigued by mazes.” He would chuckle as if going on to another subject.
“Are you hungry? I am famished.” He would start to go up the stairs. The stairs would have some family pictures and portraits, one particular picture looked to be of two small elven boys with fish in their hands, looking rather proud of their catch. If Kaltrise looked closely he would see one of the boys looked rather familiar without a long scar going across their face currently. The rest of the halls seemed to line with books, each rearranging themselves, as if the hallway was the library, there would be floating seats above their heads and one seat would be occupied by what looked like a servant reading a book.
“Rowena makes delicious food, even some you maybe familiar with. I wonder above void elves though. Are they not technically still bloodelves? Just with a touch of shadow like me whom is a shadow priest?” He asked her walking backwards now. Arms behind his back, still keeping a positive composure.

Kaltrise slowly approached the entrance. Each step grew seemingly heavier until she stopped entirely just outside. She swayed, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. In a final moment of consideration, the huntress looked over to her companion.
The large beast returned her gaze. She turned and knelt in front of him, bringing his face close to hers. Her fingers ran through his coat and she brought her lips to his ears. As she drew back, he gave a soft whimper but she simply shook her head.
“Go,” she repeated with a reassuring smile, “You know better anyway.”
Her attention returned to the inside of the building as Falore tore off with a bounding leap. The wolf growled and even snapped at any nearby Forsaken as he passed but otherwise, he continued towards the treeline. Kaltrise moved in the opposite direction.
If she had been surprised or impressed by the impossible size of the interior, she did well to mask it. Her reaction was more animated when he mentioned his specific talents. “More than a touch,” she answered, tapping beside her eyes to hint at the difference. The faintest trace of a smirk tugged at the corner of her lips, “But my tastes have not varied much, no. Only the availability.”
