visions of a steampunk looking simon but like water shortage and blood in the pipes horror

meanwhile grace with solarpunk vibes like very castle in the sky

i didn’t know what the fuck was happening half the time but it intrigued me

i think there was a ship simon was on that was like using people for fuel called “the eel” and he didn’t seem to be aware of where he was until he was on it. i think he might have been put on the ship as punishment thinking he is supposed to stay in the engine room and fix it but he is slowly losing his mind and the engine keeps telling him that it is so so warm and cozy inside not like the boiling heat he is in just climb in and get cozy but his radio somehow connected to rylands

and ryland is chilling on a much more chill ship like yeehaw beautiful studio ghibli ass flying ship very nice very nice

hears simon and is like “oh i gotta fucking help this guy what is happening”

and against possibly every sense of reason takes a small ship to go down and simon climbs through the hatch (the ship looks like a monster) and the steam sprays like a blow hole so he gets kinda burnt as fuck on one side and so does ry grabbing him? idk dreams are weird man

anyway simon is in the hell ship and ryland is in a different genre and snatches that guy out the mouth of hell as per usual but the imagery was so sharp

the scuffed as fuck bronze and rust-looking blood vs the much more polished ship

god honestly maybe they could be the same ship

simon is just in the belly of the pretty pretty ship that has horrifying innards

ryland gets to be horrified that the call is coming from inside the house like “hey so what do you mean there’s a blood engine” and decides hmm i think this ship should crash actually if it is eating people?

dreams are nonsensical sometimes but i will rotate the (bloody)steampunk/solarpunk later

these get reposted a whole lot from here to reddit to twitter to tiktok and on and on, and i don't personally care whether or not i'm credited. i made these for everyone to use, enjoy, and find meaning in them. i appreciate folks who do credit me, but if able, please at least link to the threadless shop in the previous post - folks can get an official shirt where 90% of earnings go to trans led orgs focused on mental health (which is an important matter in general, but very personal to me) and not from a scam bot site selling AI-churned maga garbage where you probably won't get one anyway. i also suggest downloading the files from my ko-fi - they are free/PWYW and you can use them to make your own shirt, patch, embroidery project, whatever. tips are always nice, cuz i do like a pizza now and then, but never required for download.

final thought - breaking the pride tradition and more than likely won't make a new piece. the top one from TDOV is all i'm making this year. i have my focus on other projects currently and i don't want to force a poster design. these came from a specific head space and my current head space is Very Tired lmao so i wanna work on other things. 👍

and if i said that tumblr thought they could get away with that update bc they know the majority of this website ignores the reblog option entirely compared to years ago, so they figured they could just BREAK the very foundation of how this website was built to operate and people would just shrug and be fine with that. please let this be a wake up call. our strong reaction to that change should start to reflect significantly in that ACTUAL reblog count under those notes we just fought for to stay untouched. fandoms and communities cannot thrive on likes alone. as much as tumblr has tried to turn this place into tiktok and twitter, it's not. posts need to circulate. art needs to be seen and shared. tumblr is not tumblr if this is not happening consistently because reblogs are the heartbeat of this website. please don't ever take it for granted. never give tumblr a reason to take away the thing that links us together and amplifies creativity. make reblogging a priority, PLEASE.

I think transformers should lean more into the uncanny aspects, especially with their alt modes. As a treat. Like, at a first glance everything looks normal, but there are little things that only mechanics and car nerds pick up on, details that don't line up with the model, and even though it's turned off, something about it feels alive, and there's this lingering feeling that it's watching those who come near.

YESSSS!!! First that comes to mind could be the typically bare inner panels seen under a car's hood might have a motherboard like pattern. Almost like veins. [Like the image made below].

I'm not a car person but I can come up with a few more strange things to add. 1 . When in an enclosed space. With the car off. You will feel air actively flow in the room, coming from somewhere. 2. The car battery wouldn't be a battery. Just an imitation. 3. Parts that can be taken apart just don't seem to budge. 4. They might use similar fluids seen in cars but viscosity, colour or smell might be unusual. 5. But of course these 'modifications' and other oddities seen in a civilian car can be written off as a new variant of sleeper car.

A fun thing to add might be that, along with all cars having 4 wheel drive, there are parts similar to hydraulic lowrider on each wheel of the car. Meaning they can nod and jump even in car mode.

And one more thing to add. Even more uncanny than the vein like motherboard patterns and tired ability to lie flush with the ground. The car lights refract in such a way it feels like you are being watched by a glittering compound eye. The sensation. That you have to look back.
