despite endfield doing the main character shill thing i feel like it's more deliberately in your face to be able to bring the endmin crashing down during the moment of their realization of their true purpose. we're missing a bunch of puzzle pieces between base arknights and endfield but their resemblance to priestess, knowing what originium actually is, seeing bits from the recent AK chapters and witnessing the intro stuff for endfield, i feel like the endmin is an entity tasked with accelerating originium tech on colonies forcefully, compared to the original attempt on terra. the endmin missing memories from their previous cycle is probably their previous self trying to cut off the influence of priestess
