I swear this is the only time you'll see #bluemangroup fan art from me. I'm having a bit of a blue period 😂😆 and fell down a Youtube hole of vintage BMG video footage. Perfect for practicing my gouache technique Side note: it's actually really difficult to avoid 'plastic man syndrome' when your subjects have actually painted themselves blue😕

2 of 3: Sometimes you watch Blue Man Group. Then sometimes you watch the stuff Blue Man make when they are on vacation. Sometimes you try to draw them once, utterly fai,l and then obsessively keep drawing them until you get a decent likeness and can go “SEE I TOLD YOU I CAN DRAW!??!?!?!”

(all the same dude. Only one manages to look anything remotely like him. If I’m obsessive about anything it’s doing the same thing over and over until I get the results I’m looking for. I was having a really bad few months, people. It’s like I forgot how to draw people. Or this dude is really that hard to capture. Anyway all from a film called Troubadors in case you were curious)

Just doing a massive upload of all the sketching I’ve done since the 1st of the year. Nothing too inspired, just using the stuff I’ve been watching as inspiration. Al lot of that Blue man dude cuz I can’t seem to get a decent likeness to save my ass. Little bit of Bones for good measure (yeah they funky too, I’ve been having a bad few months-.-)
