congratulations on making it through another really difficult year.
I hope the next one is kinder to you.
and I'm really glad you're around to see it.
Actually, you are enough. Even if you don’t work. Or study. Or go out. Or have friends. Or have family. You’re enough because you exist and your existence is enough to be enough because you are not a product. You are not a sum of output. You are not a task to complete. But because you are something the universe wanted and put here even if you’ll never understand why. Somewhere in the cosmos your existence makes a difference, even if it’s not the way others existences do.
Questioning or trying out a label isn't a commitment. It's OK to explore a label but not use it in the end. It's OK to actively identify with a label but still end up not using it later down the line. It's always OK to drop a label that isn't right for you.
hey if you're trans in the us i love you. hey if you're queer in the us i love you. hey if you're a person of color in the us i love you. hey if you're a woman in the us i love you. hey if you're disabled in the us i love you. i love you i love you i love you
that quote like “god gave us transness for the same reason he made grapes but not wine; yeast but no loaves — so we may partake in the divine act of creation”
- Julian K. Jarboe, quoted in Something That May Shock and Discredit You by Daniel M. Lavery
Here's where they originally said it! And, with an icon I drew! We went to school together, I owe them a lot.
incidentally, from their website’s FAQ:
hey there LGBTQ kids who are also Christian/Jewish! If you feel like you’re disobeying God, questioning your faith, or feel wrong and dirty for loving who you love, there’s this fantastic site I found today called hoperemains that accurately and thoroughly combs through scripture and its (many) mistranslations, validates your orientation, and basically let’s you know that you’re not pissing off God. It’s insanely thorough and after reading through every page on the entire site it’s super helpful. Go check it out!
No no no! Jewish LGBTQ kinderlach! Go to Keshet!
hoperemains is completely from a Christian perspective, and not pluralistic or interfaith at all.
If you reblogged the first post from me please reblog this amendment so the Jewish peeps can access this resource too!
Trans Jewish kids, you can go to TransTorah as well!
Muslim LGBTQ kids, you can go to iamnotharaam! It’s run by a mod squad of different genders and orientations, and they take submissions from everybody!

I'm gonna say it here too. Allow me to be crystal fucking clear.
It is not cowardly to stay in the closet. Full stop. You do not owe anyone any part of yourself you aren't ready to share
If you unable to come out because you fear for your safety or well-being or because you know it will cause you substantial discomfort, that is not a defect in you. It's a failure of the society in which you live and the community surrounding you.
If you just don't want to share that part of yourself, that is valid and I support you
You are loved. 🏳️🌈
the world is a better place with trans women in it. trans women are valuable and important members of our communities. trans women deserve safety and protection and love.
I love you gay Christians. I love you lesbian Christians. I love you bisexual Christians. I love you pansexual Christians. I love you asexual Christians. I love you aromantic Christians. I love you transgender Christians. I love you non-binary Christians. I love you intersex Christians. I love you genderfluid Christians. I love you queer Christians. I love you genderqueer Christians. I love you microlabel Christians. I love you LGBT Christians.
Your trans body is gorgeous. Not in spite of transness. Your trans body is gorgeous. Your transness is beautiful. It doesn’t have to be ignored in order to determine your desirability.
every trans kid is a blessing

Happy Valentine’s to everyone who is in a romantic relationship; monogamous or polyamorous
Happy Valentine’s to everyone who is in a queerplatonic relationship, monogamous or polyamorous
Happy Valentine’s to everyone who is not in a relationship but wants to be
Happy Valentine’s to everyone who is not in a relationship and is happy that way
Happy Valentine’s to everyone, no matter what form of relationship you are or are not in; no matter your gender, sexuality, and romantic orientation; no matter your way of showing your love.
This is a day to celebrate love in all forms, whether that be platonic, romantic, alterous, or anything else. It’s not just for romantic love like what the world wants you to think.
reminder that if you’re questioning your gender, “what do I want?” and “what will make me happy?” tend to be much more useful questions than “what am I, really?”
if youre trans and getting misgendered/deadnamed by your family during holiday gatherings im giving you a hug over the internet rn
