Hypnosis
Preface
First, if you don’t like hypnosis, this post isn’t for you. Yes, I understand that hypnosis files should be assumed to be permanent and irreversible, and that nobody should assume they have a safety margin before the effects kick in. I assume my audience are mature enough to realise that.
Second, for those of you who have already been conditioned with hypnotic triggers, there are uncensored triggers in this post, so stop reading at the end of this sentence if you don’t want to risk being triggered.

About hypnotic files
I have honestly found that hypnosis derives its power through belief. If you believe it can work, it can. I know several people who I cannot reasonably disbelieve have successfully given themselves subconscious hypnotic triggers.
If you have gotten past the milestone of believing that hypnosis can work, the next most important thing to remember is that it is essentially impossible to condition you to do anything you don’t want to do. Some people enter hypnotic trance and, after they leave, they don’t know what happened to them; I don’t know about them.
However, the state of consciousness I have experienced during hypnosis is simply standard consciousness, except completely relaxed (to the point of finding it extremely difficult to move my limbs) and completely willing to do what the hypnotist orders me to do, to the best of my ability.
I would still say that I have been hypnotically forced to do things, though; the sensation I experience when wetting my diaper under hypnosis is unlike the sensation of wetting it when completely conscious - it feels more as if my bladder has simply decided to start peeing on its own, without my input. It does feel like voluntary wetting, but not voluntary on my part - on the part of something in my bladder.
You personally, however, may be more or less suggestible than I am, or than average. I personally think I am less suggestible than average because I achieve results more slowly than average. The spectrum is huge: some people report total loss of control after listening to a complete incontinence file once, others take a year or never achieve it at all. Almost all files appear to be successful for someone, though.
Personally, I found that when I was training with EMG’s InstantWetting trigger, I had some effects after a week. I never actually wet myself on command, but when commanded to ‘Urinate NOW’, I would find that I had arched my crotch upward slightly and started attempting to pee a couple of seconds before I actually realised what I was doing.
It was at that point that I decided that a common trigger which causes you to uncontrollably wet yourself regardless of what you are doing, what you are wearing or what the circumstances are, was not necessarily a good thing to have in my head, so I stopped training. Depending on how full-time diapering goes, I may start training again.
Types of hypnotic files
Inductions - You listen to these while conscious and, ideally, they take you into a hypnotic state. Some inductions are standalone. Many files have inductions built in; I have not experienced more success by stacking inductions, and the change of narrators, themes or other elements may actually jar some people out of a hypnotic state.
Deepeners - You listen to these while already somewhat further down than full consciousness, and they take you deeper. I have never used one.
Body - The body file is where the actual suggestions are. Most of the files I have used have had spoken bodies - that is, someone straight-up says, “When you hear x, you will do y”, or simply “Do y”. By implication, the body also includes the awakener - I have never seen standalone inductions paired with standalone awakeners.
Subliminal - My understanding is that you listen to these not necessarily while hypnotised, but as often as necessary, and they implant or reinforce suggestions without you being aware of it. I haven’t tried one of these for long enough to notice an effect.
Video - These are what they sound like: a hypnotic file which relies on a video for part of its hypnotic effect. Personally I occasionally have trouble using these, because I tend to want to lie back and relax with my eyes closed when being successfully tranced, but they do apparently work for some people.
Environment
In my experience, hypnosis is much less effective when interrupted by more than very slight, momentary distraction. If you’re scared of your parents or housemates walking in on you and so you’re keeping an ear out for the sound of them moving around the house, it is going to have a negative effect on how well you retain the triggers.
Protection is also important. I tend to wear cloth diapers when trancing because they fit me in such a way that I can be sure that if I’m forced to wet, I won’t leak. If you’re using a continence-related file while lying on a surface you would not want to leak on (which is really just about any surface), wear a diaper you’re confident in.
Presentation styles
Straight - A lot of files seem to be like this. Someone talks to you, you listen very intently to them, and you trance. There are no tricks.
Themed - Some files (specifically, in my experience, AB/DL files) use background stimuli related to the suggestion. A file that will make you wet yourself might use running water. A file with an AB/DL purpose might have nursery music.
Confusion - These have been the most effective for me. They use audio tricks like echo, and a script with some level of misdirection, to force you to listen hard, because you can’t predict what the next word will be and you might miss it unless you listen really closely.
A selection of hypnotic files that I’ve used
Wet Echo by allison-in-love - This is the one I have found the most success with. The file implants an obedience trigger (‘Allison owns you’), then uses the trigger to command/compel you to wet yourself.
Sissy Poopy Time by Brand_X - This works for me too, even though it shouldn’t (I’m not especially sissy and messing is a taboo for me). A lot of the effectiveness is the background sounds, which are indeed associated with things that make control in that area harder for me.
ShowMeYourDiaper by EMG - If the file works, you take a picture of your diaper and upload it. In my case, it worked (I am an exhibitionist).
InstantWetting by EMG - When you hear ‘Urinate now’, you urinate. I was only ever triggered through text, but I still experienced some success; you may not immediately, but that doesn’t make you unusual, as there are definitely files circulating which make you receptive to text triggers.
Interesting hypnotic files I haven’t used
The Diaper Does It by Sarnoga - Triggered by you putting on a diaper. Causes you to lose wetting control whenever you are wearing a diaper, including while you are asleep. Self-reinforcing: if you don’t wear a diaper at least once every ten days, you start wetting your pants or bed, and the file only completely wears off once you’ve done this twenty times, so it is essentially impossible to escape from if you have anywhere near a normal degree of interaction with the world.
Safe Bladder Bowel Loss by EMG - Causes you to lose wetting and messing control while, and only while, wearing a diaper and being in a safe place. You decide what a safe place is.
Diaper Trap by EMG - Causes you to lose wetting control while wearing a diaper and for two hours after removing it, regardless of circumstances.
Trig Diaper Dependence by hellion0 - Causes you to lose wetting control when triggered and regain it when untriggered; however, you can’t untrigger yourself. If you can’t get untriggered by someone else, it takes three days for you to regain wetting control.
TrainBedWetting by EMG - Pretty self-explanatory.
TrainBladderIncontinent by EMG - Also pretty self-explanatory.
TrigIncontinence by EMG - Causes you to lose wetting and messing control when someone says “incontinence time for you” and regain it when someone says “revert to normal”.
Anything by ForAdultBabies.com - FAB is a paysite providing incontinence training and behavioural training files. Incontinence training can be sleep-wetting only, wetting all the time, or wetting and messing all the time. Behavioural training includes self-triggerable or other-triggerable regression options. There is also a universal reversal file which will remove any conditioning from above.
A polite note
Do not train unethically. There are files which will, for example, compel you to exclaim loudly how much you love your diapers every time you change them. If you are a lifestyle AB/DL, this is more than likely going to cause you to expose non-consenting parties to things they really didn’t need to be aware of. That is unethical.
This doesn’t mean don’t do anything extreme. You are quite entitled to permanently remove your own toilet training, which is pretty extreme and likely a bad decision for the vast majority of people. The point is that it is not unethical unless someone else relies on you to be toilet-trained - if, for example, you have a partner who you know would object to you un-toilet-training yourself, or if you aren’t prepared to wear swim diapers when swimming.
If you are absolutely unable to resist doing something under the influence of hypnotic training, it is still your fault. You chose to be trained. You don’t get out of the blame, because you knew this would happen when you were trained and you decided to be trained anyway.
