I used to do a lot of stargazing when I was in the hospital. There wasn't really uh... much else to do.

-Man, he’s just really, really nervous about this, isn’t he?  Maybe she should speak up instead of just kind of relying on him to step up?  It was kind of unfair with everything going on.  It might make things awkward, but she takes a deep breath.-

It can be a date-date, though.  Or a friend-date. I’m happy with either.  I like you either way.

[He notices her standing a bit closer and swallows the lump in his throat, his hand starting to make the motion to hold hers.]

[Stopping only a couple of inches away, he hesitates and glances down at their hands, nearly jumping when he notices Star Platinum's hand extend from his hand to grab hers and pull it closer. Now they were holding hands, fingers laced together and all.]

[His face has gone from pink to deep red.]

You know, I don't really have an explanation, but yeah it's everywhere. Usually every town area has their own fireworks thing they do in addition to people setting fireworks off on their own...

[He clears his throat and makes an attempt to stand up straighter.]

Uh, I don't think the local fireworks have officially started so, uh... we can head down to beach? I think fireworks look the best over the water.

U-Uh-- yeah! It's American Independence Day. They make a big deal about doing fireworks everywhere, big and small.
