Best eReader for kids
Kids of today’s generation have become very smart and technologically advanced. I remember wanting a Leo toy gun when I was a kid but kids of today’s generation want technically sophisticated video games and tablets and eReaders. Frankly speaking I still not very comfortable with a smart phone. The phone that I use has no additional features and is a basic model. The model is so old and obsolete that it is out of market and if something happens to my phone then I will have to buy a new phone. And that is my worst nightmare as I know that I will have a tough time getting used to the smart phones available in the market.
Do kids really need eReader?
From an educational perspective yes there are many benefits for kids who use electronic devices for reading. The best schools around the world are bringing in the concept of eReaders and trying to cultivate the love for reading among the kids. This makes the kid concentrate more on gaining knowledge and takes them away from the video games which were actually making the kids dull and monotonous.
Which is the best eReader for kids?
Now that it proven that eReader is good for kids let us try to find out which is the best eReader review for kids. Kids of different age will need different kinds of eReader. Unlike the grown ups the same bill will not fit for all. For young kids there are electronic learning toys which have friendly e-reading programs along with features like MP3 players, and games. These toys are for kids who are around the age of 3 and look exactly like a tablet with touch screen facility. When the kids use these toys then they get hands on experience on using eReader and tablets. For kids who are a bit older there are basic e-readers in the market. These are specially made for kids and have scratch resistant screen also have games and different kinds of interesting applications which are helpful in the growth of the child. For kids who are in high school and are getting ready to go to college can handle eReader which is used by an adult. But you have to make sure that the applications and books that they access are not adult material and are related to their age. Kids can easily misuse the facilities provided to them if properly not guided.
There are many companies which make eReader and are very famous in the market but I have deliberately been cautious enough not to take name of any of those products. Instead I have tried to be as generic as possible to point on the kind of eReader that will suite the kids of different age. If I take names of the companies then it will be more of a promotion of those products. And that is not my intention here. My intention here is to discuss about the kind of eReader that will be fit for kids of all ages. It is upon the parents to decide the product details so I have left it on them to decide.
