My "best friend" is fucked up

I'm bout to vent!

So I dated this boy, such a sweetheart, about two years ago. I treated him bad in general because i was becoming popular. I cheated on him with a girl and immediately left him to be with her. I love her more than anything but for the best, we can't be together. So after getting over her the guy I was dating started talking to me again. I apologized endlessly for everything and he accepted me. I thought things were going well then he stopped talking to me and I found out he started dating someone else. He didn't talk to me for about two months. I got over him but recently couldnt get him out of my head and kept wondering "what if". Turns out I trained his girlfriend at my work and she currently works with me. He texted me last night and now wants to hang out. I want to be with him more than anything but if it hasn't worked out yet could it now? So confused

Cutest thing anyone's ever sent to me....if only he truly liked me Once upon a time this high school kid was getting ready to take his senior class picture, when he noticed this girl that he's never seen before sit down. She was gorgous but he was too shy to say anything to her. Well next semester came around and as he walked into his new 1st class of the day he noticed that same girl. He was still too shy to say anything so instead, he decided to sit right behind her hoping she would notice. Days passed and still no words between the two ever came about. until one morning he grew a pair of balls and decided to say something. But what? He couldn't think of anything, until he saw her tattoo. "I like your tattoo" said the kid thinking it was the stupidest thing ever to say. Then she turned around and said thanks with a beautiful smile across her face. Over that last semester of high school the two became very close friends and started to hang out outside of school. They did many things together like go to the beach, hookah lounge, go carting, put putting, sleep overs, movies and even started partying together. Everything was perfect but Feelings grew for the kid towards the girl but he was still nervous around her and couldn't tell her because he was scared of what her response would be. Until one night she asked him what he was up to because she wanted to see him before she left and he replied that he was with another girl. She didn't like that too much. so when he dropped the girl he was with off, he stopped by to see the girl and she wasn't in a good mood. He was confused but at the same time really liked that she felt jealous. This made him feel warm inside and put a smile on his face. When he left her house they started texting and the truth finally came out. The kid was so relieved that he found out that the girl who was perfect in his eyes actually had feelings for him. And ever since then he couldn't get his mind off of her especially since she was gone on vacation. He missed her so much. He missed everything about her. Every night she came across his mind wishing he was with her just to atleast see her hold her and maybe kiss her. She finally came back from her vacation and the first thing the kid did was pick her up and take her out. They caught up on everything that night and had a great time together. The kid still really likes the girl and doesn't know what lies ahead in his future with her, but all he knows is that he wants to make sure that the smile on her face at the end of the day is because of him.
