you mean, me mentioning that kiyoko could be into stuff like manga & anime ? i mean, everyone got their own interpretations n headcanons of a character, so i don’t think i rlly got much of a saying on what another mun thinks of the same character we play oops.in part tho, i say that because like, in the end kiyoko is still a teenage girl. sure, she’s mature and quiet and can be considered a “sports” kinda gal n all that jazz, but in no way a teen or even a young adult will be in serious business mode 24/7. she’s even been shown to have her own silly side, like when she said that anxiety is like a cold and you can just pass it over to other people ( sugawara himself said; “what’s with that way of explaining things?!” or smth along these lines )plus, i feel like it adds depth to her character for her to enjoy things that are usually seen as “silly”, such as anime&mango and even puns from time to time, since as i said before, she’s still a teenage girl. it’s that one “unexpected” factor, since she’s most likely seen by many as The Perfect Japanese Woman and is put on a pedestal of........ well, perfection. and her having an interest in mango and things of the like that can be either seen as endearing and charming, or stupid and embarrassing considering “otaku culture” is not very well seen in certain communities in japan, which in part may also be the reason as for why she’d have said interests be kept as a secret ( but ofc she’s not an over the top kind of fan either; i’d say she’d be more of the “casual” kind )idk where im going with this tho i guess??? just kind of explaining why i think it’d be an interesting thing to incorporate to her character lmao.
