her job requires her to wear slacks and a T-shirt but the moment her shift ends she's taking that shit off
she has two pokemon for transport reasons and one pokemon because she kept forgetting to take her meds
Unleash the Brushbuddy!
Oh no!....Coco seems to have accidentally made herself small is being taken on a joy ride by Brushbuddy!
Honestly considering the worldbuilding and lore of Witch Hat Atelier. This would likely be a banned spell. With you're not being allowed to alter the human body. Same with going giant. But still fun to imagine.
I couldn't come up with what such a spell would actually look like so i drew a bunch of arrows pointing inwards for the spell circle. >w<
Time for another OC art dump/bio/history! This one's about another one of my original creatures, a species of bird called the Quazador. It was originally made in 2015, but this recent art of it is from this year. It's a sketchy little redesign I did with the aim of bringing more realism into its design.
Here's the summary from its toyhouse page:
Height: 13ft
Summary: Quazador are large predatory birds that live on floating islands covered with coniferous forest. It’s currently unknown what kind of other lifeforms inhabit the islands, but quazador have been observed to hunt most of their prey on the ground below rather than the islands. Once their sharp eyes spot potential prey (typically antelope), they swoop down from high in the sky at blinding speed and scoop them up with their powerful talons.
They’ve been the subject of many legends regarding demonic spirits swooping down from the sky and frightening - and in some cases - carrying people away. In the modern day, there has been no reported attacks on humans by quazador, but plenty of reports of near-attacks; with an average of 10 reports of “quazador harassment” a year by tourists and locals of the area. It’s possible that they are simply mistaking humans as prey - or perhaps they just like giving people heart attacks. As a result of this behavior, tourists to the remote region they live have been prohibited from bringing small children and pets.
Other Notes: - Its name is a portmanteau of "quasar" and "condor".

So this bird was originally gonna be about the same size as before but then I made some doodles like

messing around until it looked cool and here we are
Some drawings of my OC/trainersona, Jay, and her Pokémon! Jay is a Pokémon Professor-in-training whose field of study is ornithology- Bird Pokémon. As she works through her schooling, she works at a wildlife rehab center in the Alola region. Each of these guys (including their trainer) have their own story- more art to come!
❤️ If your birb friend doesn't tower over you, then why even try
Quaquaval abusing his tall privileges (he needed to take a selfie)
How tall even are they?
Wouldn't be surprised if someone's already done it but I saw Bertha in da house and was compelled
You can't really prove that this wasn't intended by the building designer since, look how high the ceiling is. ...of course its also a third person game so the camera needs somewhere to go, ask me how I know this, but whatever. Loftwings are really big birds (as riding birds they have to be) and would definitely struggle to fit in any reasonable room by regular standards, but since when did that ever exist in zelda? I still think the Loftwing's too small here though.
teraleak - zapdos reference sheet
Some documents related to this one give a height for ash of 120cm, which is tiny but probably not unreasonable, and I think its pretty clear that the smaller human there is supposed to be them. This gives a height for the birds here, roughly 3 to 3.5m tall.
To add onto this: Here, we see their altered proportions more here. But the piece de resistance is the standing pose with their wings folded, which shows *How To Do That, The Right Way* with Zapdos, which we were not aware of before. But its also just a wonderful Zapdos picture, and probably the best official one they ever made. Zapdos has never been better than they were right here. Also, if you really wanna assume Ash is 140cm tall, that makes the bird here 4m tall.
teraleak - articuno reference sheet
I almost wanna say they tried to smooth the design a little more to make them more elegant? They definitely have bigger wings here than they do normally. The tail is ungodly poofy and long as well. I almost feel like these linearts were made by people who actually cared, though by how much idk. The top left lineart is almost directly traced from the game reference and its the worst one here, the other pics are better.
teraleak - moltres reference sheet
Another size comparison - though I think this bird benefits the *least* in this case, since they're already so big, and its also quite a tall thin bird, so while its undeniably gigantic here, its not really as gigantic as the others are. As for the design I think this is a bit more conservative? Not as much changes to its proportions here. Moltres is a quite abstract phoenix pokemon that really depends on its fire effect, hence why its model is almost never seen since nobody wants to go through with setting up shaders like that. Its a shame though that M2 never really did anything with these birds besides being objects. All they did was fight and when they werent fighting they were standing around doing nothing and none of the characters interact with them, which is a massive letdown given, well, I mean look how big they are here. why *wouldn't* interacting with a big bird in animation be cool?
teraleak - zapdos reference sheet
what we see here is, they've altered zapdos's proportions. They look properly imposing compared to anything from the games. I wanna *say* they made their body bigger, but I almost think it comes down to them making their head smaller and their wings bigger.
teraleak - lugia reference sheet
In M2, the TRio hang from their leg, not their tail, so this is, well either they didn't care, or this is from before they changed that. Also I guess this is where that one luigi front view you occasionally see comes from.

Notice the perched pose, which I'm not sure we've seen before.
Sokai Week day 2: Marahute
More dream art from 2017! This one is one of my more extensively recreated dreams, even thought it lacks the detail some of the more recent recreations have had. It's a dream of a strange indie game where you catch fish and fight monsters that disguised themselves as fish.
The first pic features game's protagonist, an unnamed girl in a raincoat. She lives in an apartment, and the back door leads to a drainage tunnel (pictured in the map) that then leads out into a lake where most of the game takes place.
It's a fishing game, so the gameplay is mostly in a boat fishing for bass and salmon out on the lake. After fishing, she then goes back home and you can explore her room and check a series of safe-boxes embedded into the wall for any new changes or hints to the story. The game is set in a post apocalypse world where all life on earth has been wiped out by a bunch of giant anomalous brick walls that appeared and proceeded to fall, crushing everything besides a small chunk of land containing the girl's apartment and the lake behind it.
At some point, returning from the lake after fishing, you'll start encountering fish in the drainage tunnel, and those fish eventually reveal themselves to be monsters in disguise. The salmon become shark-like creatures, and bass become some sort of melty plesiosaur-looking things. You fight back by casting your rod at them. There were also octopus-like enemies (not pictured), and enemies called "barnacles".
The barnacle enemies always appear in groups of three, attack with super-sonic sound waves that radiate from them, and can only be killed if you attack the middle one. They bare a resemblance to the enemy of the same name from Half-Life, but float upright in the water and behave more like leevers from LoZ: OoT (the green spinning sandworm things in Gerudo Dessert), making them difficult to hit.
Years after I had this dream, coincidentally there have actually been a few REAL indie games that are surreal, dreamlike fishing games! One of them is About Fishing, another is Dream Fishing. Both are still in development, but Dream Fishing has a demo out on itch.io. I've included links to these because I think they're cool!

Some drawings of my Trainer OC!
This is Jay, a Pokémon Ornithologist. Originating from Vaniville Town, Kalos, her family moved to the Alola region when she was fifteen. After finding a seriously injured Pidgey as a young kid and helping Nurse Joy take care of it at her local Pokémon Center, she knew she wanted to spend her life helping and learning about Pokémon, especially birds. She finished her schooling in Alola and now spends her life helping to protect the unsteady Alolan ecosystem, especially the native bird Pokémon species.
These are Jay's personal Pokémon! Talonflame and Gumshoos work together to battle a Rattata. Gumshoos chases it out of the tall grass while Talonflame swoops down to make the first strike. Talomflame is usually quite timid, but you wouldn't be able to tell once she's flying. Even a Pokémon as nose-to-the-ground as Gumshoos knows to watch out for her stoop!
Somehow, Jay found herself with a number of nocturnal Pokémon. She doesn't mind staying up with them. Her no-nonsense Noctowl came with her from Kalos, and her Murkrow used to be a number two lackey for a notorious Alolan Honchkrow. By far, her most powerful bird is her Partner Pokémon, Decidueye. He already has excellent night vision and grip strength that could snap a tree in two, but being able to sense the life force of any living thing near him makes him nearly unstoppable. For such a fearsome Pokémon, he is ironically very laid-back and easygoing.
Jay spends every day taking care of Pokémon, but for bird Pokémon in particular, social preening is important for building bonds. Jay invented a way for her Pokémon to "preen" her as she preens them! Here, you see her prized Kalosian Pidgeot (the very same one she rescued as a child). He looks very intimidating and fierce, but he's by far the goofiest Pokémon Jay owns. Toucannon was the first Pokémon she caught in Alola, and her stern personality makes her as fierce as Pidgeot looks!
Sometimes, Jay has to find and catch nuisance Pokémon that are causing trouble in the wild. These Pokémon must be caught and relocated, and Blaziken helps her chase them down. Blaziken is fearless and bold, and nothing yet has been able to outrun her. Oricorio is bright as sunshine and sweet as honey; she is usually around for moral support. Oricorio doesn't like battling, but in a pinch, she can unleash a shockingly strong Revelation Dance!
