{-✉-} When Karuta brought her the requested aggregate, Ririchiyo was absolutely ready to work: she put her glasses on the eyes from her bag, then the long deep-purple hair was already in pony-tail not to interfere her during the job. She looked at the pinkette with a quota of pride: coffee was the main Ririchiyo’s passion and sedative. “Well, put it here. And have you got even primitive scales?” In fact, the youkai hated any inaccuracy or neglect in any deal, but nothing to do — her friend is not required to have special equipment for it.
When Roromiya fulfilled her request, the purplette started to work. Though it wasn’t the work at all — Ririchiyo always had the true pleasure from any work which calls for attention and concentration. As it was for Karuta when she was cooking, for example. In this case they had many similarities.
…The grains were almost been processed in the machine, when she was preparing the dishes for the beverage. Ririchiyo felt herself a competent hostess in Karuta’s kitchen, actually almost ceased to notice her. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee was inexpressible and couldn’t be described.
With a sense of accomplishment the young youkai poured the hot umber liquid in the cups. “Ready.” She said with a sigh of relief. Then she pushed the cup to Roromiya, subconsciously waiting of her verdict about her work — anyway, Karuta knew a lot about food in any values.
Obediently bringing the scale to the other, she then watched the girl go in progress of brewing one of her finest coffee. Truly, it was fascinating to see her be at hard work in creating something so simple, but at the same time she understood how the other felt. The pinkette could criticize, however, that the ravenette was taking this too much of an experiment rather than something that should be 'culinary'. Well, maybe that was how she did it and she didn't want to interrupt her during the vital moment.
It almost felt like she was dominating her whole kitchen though, yet thankfully she didn't mind about it. How long has it been since someone used her kitchen other than her? Not to mention it was awhile since she has brought guests into her room... In other words, she could say she felt delighted to finally have some company for once.
When the coffee was done, the SS snapped out of her conscious and gazed at the cup that was given to her. "Thank you..." Gingerly picking it up by the handle, she breathed lightly into the hazel aroma before taking a sip.
She had to admit that coffee didn't interest her very much, but she was able to tell from what she drank that this was considered a rather 'exquisite' taste. "The coffee is bitter... But I like it." Adding sugar to the caffeine would solve the bitterness, so she wasn't entirely concerned about that. Either way, upsetting the other by disappointing her after she has been through all that hard effort with her own opinion wasn't in her agenda.
"Chiyo-chan is a good coffee maker."
