“You are no family of mine Katerina,” he glared at her as he watched her make herself comfortable on his bed, with the woman he met in Australia. “There is not even a remotely little bit amount of kindness in the black heart of yours,” he took her by the wrist and got her off his bed. “Maybe I’ll let Klaus know that you are here, I’m sure he’d love to tear you limb from limb.”

Turning to the woman behind her, Katherine gave a shrug accopanied by a smirk. “Sounds offensive, but it would be weird for him to consider me family after everything we’ve done, if you know what I mean.” her tone joke-y as she winked, all of this just to piss the original off a bit more. “’Black heart’ is his nickname for me, inside joke, honey, inside joke.” katherine patted the woman’s knee. “Oh, you know Klaus would lose his reason for living if he suddenly decided to get rid of me after looking for so long, wouldn’t you say?”

It had been a quiet week, unpleasantly uneventful, which was rare for a town that was basically a soap opera all in one. The brunette had spied on a couple people, somewhat caught up with all the drama, but she had done that on day one and by day five, the girl was bored.  Deciding to just go grab a bite to eat, she quickly found a more than adequate candidate and fed, doing this all in a rather unamused manner. So, Katherine was minding her own business, for once, dragging the body of a young girl behind her whilst she walked up an abandoned street, her left hand holding her phone as she checked it nonchalantly when she suddenly heard footsteps behind her. Letting the body drop like a rag doll, she tilted her head, all without turning round. “Something catch your eye?”

“I can’t,” Gia said, sensing the other was like her. “My daylight ring is missing,” She said. “A maniac compelled me to take it off and now, here i am. Back alive with no ring on it,”

“And you’d think it’d be smart to blurt out threats when you can’t even step out of the shade? A plus to you, darling.” katherine rolled her eyes, walking towards the girl and then leaning against the wall.

Elijah turned after hearing Katherine’s voice, “What we seem to have here is an intruded on my family’s property,” he glanced at the woman he once loved. “She is hardly a one night stand Katerina, I met her on my trip to Australia to get away from this city for a bit.” He continued putting on his shirt anyways, he stepped closer to Katherine, “I rather not give you the satisfaction of seeing me in this kind of environment, if you could so kindly leave, even though it’s hard for you.”

“I thought we were all family in this tiny town.” katherine continued to provoke him, sitting down on the corner of the bed, opposite the woman, and crossing one leg over the other. “Leave? That’s rather rude, wouldn’t you say? Especially because I came all this way just to come visit, all out of the kindness of my heart.”

Gia had been hiding in the alley, trying to wait for the sun to go down. Her daylight ring was gone due to no other than Klaus Mikaelson since he had compelled her to take it off and burn in the sun. But she was alive now and  she was going off of a lead of where it could be. She was about to try and dart quickly to the next alley when she heard something rattle in the alley. “If you don’t want your ass kicked, I suggest you come out right now,”

Katherine was minding her own business, for once, just walking up an alley, dragging the body of a young girl behind her as she checked her phone nonchalantly when she suddenly heard someone call out & threaten her. Letting the body drop like a rag doll behind her, she turned around towards the sound of the voice, both eyebrows raised. “If you don’t want to piss off a seemingly calm vampire, I suggest you come out, since you’re the one hiding.”

        “really? i guess being ignorant suits you, uh? look, even with with my humanity i wouldn’t care about what you are saying, no big difference” true, but how katherine knew that she was a vampire when just yesterday was human or she was that dumb that she was always thinking that she was vampire all along, can happen.

“it’s the fact you don’t freeze in fear whenever i speak that shows me something’s not quite right with the elena everyone seems to love.” she spoke, tilting her head slightly.

After his siblings held a Mikaelson ball that he had caught word of he had come back to New Orleans after his trip away from it all. It was a lot of pressure on him to take care of his siblings and look after them, but he realized that Freya probably needed a break from it all so he was coming back after being in Australia. He departed a week after they had woken up from the sleeping spell. Elijah felt different after almost dying, he was realizing just how precious his own life is and decided he could use some time alone. 

But after being alone in Australia a couple of days he met this Australian woman, she played the violin and she seemed familiar. She wasn’t Gia but she felt like she closely resembled the woman who died that he was growing fond of. It may have been just the loneliness or maybe it was the fact that he wanted to move on from Hayley Marshall, who was always in his thoughts but he couldn’t just come to see her. He was back and he wanted to wait a while for things to go alright, but honestly he wasn’t ready for Hayley, he felt like she deserved so much more than him.

He was back at the Mikaelson compound only a few hours, with the woman he grew fond of in Australia who he wanted to bring here because he didn’t want to part from her completely. She was now laying naked in his bed and he removed himself and went to go put on a shirt when he heard someone open the door.

“I know I have excellent vampire hearing, but I would still expect you to knock before entering if you wouldn’t mind.”

Katherine was bored. After the ball had happened, everything seemed to stay quiet in the area and she had no one to tease. Even feeding on people was losing it’s kick so she decided to stroll into the Mikaelson house. Honestly, she walked in to either piss of Klaus or find Kol to go piss off Klaus, before she heard movements in Elijah’s bedroom. The brunette was slightly surprised, especially because she hadn’t seen him in quite a long time, so she walked up the stairs in the direction of his room.

Not bothering to knock because she figured he would have heard her heels up the stairs, she swung the door open, a small laugh leaving her lips when she saw the naked woman on his bed. “Well, well, what do we have here? Mikaelson one night stand is still up & running and in business? I’m impressed.” katherine spoke, pursing her lips lightly with a soft smirk over her features. “Oh, please, don’t get dressed on my account, nothing I haven’t seen before.”

the look davina sent the doppelgänger was more annoyed than anything else. the brunette was opinionated and davina didn’t see anything wrong it that. what was wrong was how unnecessarily rude katherine had a tendency to be. ”actually feelings, likes and dislikes don’t come with that much of an age requirement.” she replied looking at the woman.

“stupid ones come with an age requirement.” she shot back. she had been at the ball for 20 minutes and she was already having the time of her life annoying davina. it was the simple pleasures. “kol’s much more of a patient man than i thought, putting up with a toddler.”

facing the doppelgänger davina eyed her for a moment. it was definitely katherine. really distinguishing who was who between the doppelgängers had become real simple, ”i don’t like crowds.”

katherine couldn’t help but laugh a little when davina spoke, her eyebrow raising and her head cocking to the side slightly. “you don’t like davina spoke, her eyebrow raising and her head cocking to the side slightly. “you don’t like crowds? do you go out of your way to act like a 14 year old or does that come naturally?”

          “my dad wouldn’t do that” at least not with her in the room, hope knew that very well. hope crossed her arms listening to the brunette speaking “watch your words or the one that is going to murder someone is me, you really don’t want to see me angry” her werewolf temper was there and it was just like her dad’s temper, that’s all.

“is this the part were you tell me you have a different dad because i’m truly confused as to how someone can be so ignorant about their own father’s actions.” katherine laughed, raising an eyebrow a little when hope threatened her. “i bet it would be adorable to see you angry, but i don’t like spending my time with children.”

To say that Stefan had felt a little out of place since his return was an understatement but at least a Mikaelson ball was a welcomed familiar element..even if they did end up turning out bad. Letting out a sigh he stepped outside, escaping from the masses of people and talking to whoever decided to stand besides him “So how much are you betting that something bad kicks off?..then again maybe it wont and the tradition of how these things go down will be broken.”

“oh you know i’m not one for breaking traditions.” katherine started, turning to look at the salvatore brother with a small smirk. “you look dashing.” the brunette spoke, words rolling off of her tongue slowly with a hint of sarcasm injected into her voice. “that tux makes you slightly more bearable since you’re easier on the eyes.”

“ this is beautiful. ” tatia smiles widely as her chocolate colored hues dance around the room. “ don’t you think so? i have never seen somewhere so extravagant. it is wonderful. ”

it was easy to recognise tatia, even before she spoke, she had a different way of walking, katherine had noticed, like she floated somewhat. it was an airy walk. making her way towards her doppelganger, katherine tilted her head to the side with an amused smile. “you need to get out more.” the brunette pointed out, taking a sip of her drink. “long time no see, oh shadow of mine.”

           “i wouldn’t know, this is actually my first ball but my dad really did a good job here, i like it” she said looking at the place and then just took one of those mashmellows and dived it into that chocolate fountain that they put there just because she really wanted one and ate that, it was really good “i’m hoping that everything goes well”

“you like it? this isn’t even the good part, the good part will be when your dad tries to murder someone that’s probably all too precious to be murdered. that’s when the fun starts.” katherine mused, taking a sip of her wine and rolling her eyes as the girl ate the marshmallow. “i’m hoping you fall off a balcony & break every bone in your body but sometimes people just keep hoping and never get what they want, just gotta accept that it’s a part of life.”

katherine had been to countless mikaelson balls, and even though she had been the target of one or two of them, she had to admit - they were quite entertaining. there was always some sort of blood shed at the end, with a few killings here and there, and, if katherine was lucky, even some good old salvatore & mikaelson drama to back it up. it was also a good place to touch up on her information, the brunette liked to make sure she was up to date with every detail of, well, anything really. picking up a glass of champagne, she turned to the person who had just walked up next to her, her tight dark curls framing her face. “yet another mikaelson ball, did you know i have a space in my wardrobe reserved for this type of thing? they happen so often that i’m almost prepared for it. my bets are that a salvatore will leave crying, multiple family members will be offended and, well, you know the drill. i’m just hoping for a good bite to eat later, i haven’t had a decent meal all week.”

”i’m sorry,” the petite brunette gushed, jumping out of the way as smoothly as the black heels allowed her to. the shoes may have given her some much needed extra height, but really if davina had it her way she’d be curled up on the couch with kol wearing something far more comfortable than a dress. kol had disappeared, dropped a kiss to her forehead and promised he’d be back soon and now davina was fidgeting uncomfortably as she leaned against a pillar.

katherine eyed the small brunette as she spoke, raising a small eyebrow at just how nervous and fidgety she seemed to be. “you look like a fourteen-year-old who’s about to try a sip of champagne for the first time.” the vampire scoffed, crossing her arms loosely over her chest. “what’s got you all riled up?”
