There wasn’t anything I could say that would fix things. You come to a point where you know that what you’ve done was so awful, that it’s irreparable. You have to deal with the consequences - you can’t always fight them.

I wanted to take it all back - but I know, better than anyone, that when something it done, it’s done. Everything I’d done was over, I couldn’t fix it, I couldn’t change it, I couldn’t take it back. Sometimes we do terrible, terrible, things, and eventually they come back to bite us, and when they do, you have to own them, no matter how scary it may be.
