Haven’t taken a #workspace photo in a while so thought I’d share today’s messy desk.

Today’s workspace includes:

- sketches of a graphic/logo/snapchat filter I am working on for the work holiday party - inspiration taken from this wonderful landing page - a chocolate chip cookie - my pixel mounties pencil case - a bunch of art markers and staedtler mars eraser - my trusty wacom tablet - various cards and photos of people and art I love

We had a team offsite yesterday at UNIK Printshop, a fun little screen printing studio in Montreal. We did an atelier where we learned about silkscreening, techniques, and produced some fun designs (mine were mostly Breather designs since that’s what I’m always drawing these days).

I had forgotten how much I love screen printing and just producing things by hand in general ~

Very pleased with how everything turned out and had such a great time with my incredible creative team. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The V1 of the Julien Smith portrait — we scrapped this style for a more vector feel that would echo the city illustrations we are using.

Working on a series of portrait illustrations for Breather’s brand spankin’ new Medium.

The illustrations reference the city illustrations (see previous posts) but outline some of our most recognizable in-Breather pieces in a slightly more flexible and soft fashion. Style is still very vector and flat, but lines are more organic and the floaty chaos of all the elements “falling” into place make it dynamic and fun.
