Early this morning, I took my husband, Grant to pick-up his van, a 2020 Ford Transit Connect that had been at a collision center for the past two and a half months. While he was driving down a country road a large tree branch fell on his van and smashed the windshield. There was broken glass all throughout the van and embedded into the carpet. The dash was also screwed up because it has all kinds of gashes in it. Today when he was inspecting the van he found out that there is a camera in the rearview mirror and it wasn’t hooked up. The radio also doesn’t work properly. The sound is very low even on the highest setting. The body shop is waiting for the camera to come in and once it is, we’ll have to take the van back and they said the radio should work again. Not sure how a camera makes the radio work, but hey I’m not a body person.
In other news, today is my brother’s birthday. I think he is 56 today. Not quite sure as I have 5 brothers and sisters and keeping track of all of their ages is hard for me keep up. Anyway, my brother has his own company in excavating and owns a dumpsite. He has been running the dumpsite business for about 2 years if I remember correctly. It has been a roller coaster for him in purchasing shares of the company. But with due diligence he has succeeded.
