I've never really had the chance nor the time to take care of myself after the biggest break up, driving/moving back to CA from WA last minute within a few days, being the "glue" that held my already broken family together, focusing on helping my older sister for her wedding & not only doing what I was supposed to do but also do what our mother would have done if she was still alive, dealing with a father whom, I've always felt, will never truly be proud of anything my sister and I do, and do all the things my mom would have done on a daily basis on top of trying to get my own life going again.

It still hurts so much that with all I was doing for my family, they never took the time to see how I was doing in return. I can't thank my best friends enough, they were there for me more than my family ever attempted to be. After losing my mom, my family has been falling apart and I still can't figure out how to make things better. I wish we could just start by all being there for each other and not leaving anyone behind.

Sometimes, I just wish they'd show support for me in return when I give them all the support in the world.

I still think about everything that happened those 3 days after the biggest break up I've ever been through.. I think back to everything that he and I went through during the relationship and how committed we were to one another. And then how horrible he ended up treating me in the end.. Sometimes I wonder how he's doing stuck up in WA.. Sometimes I worry about his happiness because he's so far away from home in such a small town. A part of me still worries because at some point we will have to get in contact, I had to leave some of my stuff up at our house in WA because it wouldn't fit in my car. I still can't really express everything I feel, I've never really had the chance to release the pain and sadness. The emotions I had to set aside to be there for other people come out from time to time.. I hate it. But, I do admit.. I made the right decision by leaving. Even though the relationship wasn't fixable and even though I made the right decision to leave, it's still hard to not be sad after all you go through with someone.

I definitely played this song a lot during the last months of my relationship and just through everything I went through after the break up.. I could really relate to it.
