The mental lecel
Photographs have different ways of putting focus on the things are making it the prime story of the picture. Most people look at the first thing they see which Is usually what the photographer wants you to see but sometimes the things that are not in focus tell the story.
assignment 4 vap 200
The depictive level
The depictive level consists of four levels: flatness, frame, time, and focus. These levels define and give a picture structure. These levels are also very easy to leave out of your photograph. Personally I am still trying to figure out what to put in and leave out of the frame for my pictures. My vantage point needs to be backed up and this will also help with flatness and giving a greater depth of field in my picture. It is hard t determine what to focus the picture on and what to leave out of focus. Pictures tell stories and if you only have one object telling a story, it is difficult to comprehend a picture.
assignment #3
A little graphic to help you understand depth of field and aperture, shutter speed and motion, and ISO and digital noise.

shore the physical level
I have taken a film class and learned first hand how to develop and make your photograph come to life. Today, no one really prints there photos out anymore they just keep it on their phone or cameras. The whole process of developing and physically holding the photograph in your hand is much more satisfying then just keeping it on your technology. Today using your technology to create a photo that has a perception of depth is hard to tame.
Shore, the nature of photographs
After reading this, it made me realize that every placement, frame, angle in a photograph has its own meaning and interpretation. Just by changing the main focus of the picture it will send a different message. One of the beautiful things about photography is that regardless of what the photographer wants you to take away from the picture, the audience will relate it to their own life and interpret it in a different way. A picture can relate to almost every person in a different and unique way.

This picture is so genuine and fun. I like that you can see all the rides in the background.
