Hostel is booked! So all we have to do is get to Switzerland tomorrow. Somehow.

The house we're staying in is very atmospheric

The windows and doors keep banging open and shut by themselves. GHOSTS. 

It's a remarkably charming flat though. :)

So we arrive in Milan at 11:30 pm

and start trying to buy a 3€ ticket from a machine, which wants to stiff us like 8 euros in change since all we have are 20€ notes. We started flagging down passersby to try to break a bill, in our INCREDIBLY limited Italian ("grazi" and "buona sera" and gesticulating), without any success - until we talk to someone, who talks to someone else, and we end up with a few euros in change and some spare tickets from a couple of incredibly cute businessguys (in suits) who part ways with smiles and a joking reminder to always remember the generosity of Italians. :D

The Kappacasein stall at Borough Market sells the best freaking grilled cheese sandwiches on the planet.
