The sequin fabric on Elegance changes color! Because the actual picture could not catch this change, I decided to add a picture so the full dimension of the project is shown.

Emerald
Sequin fabric and button on mixed media paper; watercolor background.
By far, this was the hardest project because cutting a sequined fabric into circles and curved lines was very difficult, time consuming and very messy. The finished project was worth the struggle though!
Elegance
First Project; Sharpie on Bristol paper
This project was a bit difficult for me because it was the first one in the class, it forced me to think creatively. Overall, this project was really fun and it helped me think outside the box.
Vader
Ebony pencils on Bristol paper.
This project put my drawing skills to the test, however, I managed to replicate the picture to the best of my ability. Used different shading pencils to get 5 tones of very light to the darkest black.
Paletas Tri-Color
Series of watercolor popsicles. Inspired by D’Onofrio Paletas
This was my third piece in watercolor. By this time, I learned how to control the transparency of the watercolor and managed to make different washes of the same color. It was really fun making this project
Tea Time
Watercolors on watercolor paper; mounted on Bristol
This was my favorite project! This project allowed me to explore and create art with my favorite medium, watercolors. Getting creative with the play on words was also a really fun experience.
Pera
Series of sharpie, acrylics and watercolor on mixed media paper.
This series was very fun to make. Working with different mediums for each part of the series was interesting, but fun. My favorite painting is the last one. It was my first full on watercolor painting. This is when I learned that mounting a watercolor painting was hard!
