Isla De Palmas
Siargao Island also known as Isla De Palmas during the Spanish era is a gem located in the Southern part of the Philippines that has become one of the most sought-after travel destinations in recent years because of surfing. My recent trip to the island was nothing short of amazing, and I am excited to share my experience with you.
To begin, I took a small plane from Manila to Siargao Island. The flight was relatively long but provided breathtaking views of the island from above. As we descended, I could see the crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches that were waiting for me.
Upon arrival, I checked into the Isola Del Sole Villas and Resort and immediately fell in love with the place. The staff was welcoming and the owner himself was so attentive to anything we need. The resort itself was nothing short of spectacular. My spacious room had a balcony overlooking the palm trees will surely give you a relaxing vibe.
Siargao is also known for its world-class surfing spots, and even though I'm not a surfer myself haha I was in awe of the surfers' skills. Watching them ride the waves was truly a sight to behold, and I could see why Siargao is considered one of the best surfing destinations in the world.
During my stay, I made it a point to visit as many tourist spots as I could. I went on island-hopping tours, visited the famous Sugba Lagoon, and explored the rock pools at Magpupungko. Every spot was unique, and I could not get enough of the island's natural beauty.

While exploring the island, I had the opportunity to meet locals and fellow travelers. Everyone I met was friendly, and they shared stories about their travels and experiences in Siargao. It was a wonderful feeling to connect with people who share the same passion for travel.
Apart from visiting tourist spots and meeting people, I also spent a lot of time hanging out at different beaches. Each beach had its own character, but all of them had one thing in common: they were all beautiful. The water was warm, and the sand was soft and white. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and afternoon naps.
Finally, I had the opportunity to try out different restaurants on the island. Siargao has an excellent culinary scene, and the food did not disappoint. From fresh seafood to local delicacies, every meal was a delightful experience. We also tried the Boodle Fight during the Island Hopping and it was satisfying.
In conclusion, Siargao Island is a must-visit destination for travelers all over the world. The island's natural beauty, friendly locals, and excellent food make it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend staying at the Isola Del Sole Villas and Resort, as it provides the perfect balance of luxury and warm hospitality of the resort, everything was perfect. Overall, my trip to Siargao Island was one of the best island experiences and I cannot wait to return.
