I've wanted these shoes for absolute years & just never got around to buying them because they aren't necessarily the most practical purchases in the world (suede + rainy places = sadness). But I got an email earlier this week saying I had HauteLook credit that was about to expire. Credit I didn't even realise that I HAD. So I went on & they had these shoes! For $35! Freaking amazing. I don't know if they still have these shoes but I recommend signing up for the site because you get access to really, really great discounts. I'm very pleased. At London Fashion Weekend, elizabeth Arden had a deal that if you bought two products, you got a ton of free samples & the Preen bag (limited edition for the event). Also the products were 10 or 20% off, so it was a great deal. I choose to get this Heathered Plum eyeshadow duo & the Visible Difference Good Morning Retexturizing Primer. The eyeshadow is a gorgeous colour but very hard to work with to get great colour pay off. I'll figure it out. the primer is something they used on me at the event and it made my skin so nice, but I don't really feel much of a difference now that I use it myself? So, all in all, not the best purchases. However, the cleanser & Eight Hour creme samples are fantastic to have, so that's nice. Also the bag is gorgeous. So there is that & now you know :) x

my mom sent me these bath & body works candles. they all smell so amazing & are lifesavers in this miserable rainy weather. also, sorry for the backlit photos. I was losing light & so just worked with what I had.

chanel vitalumiere aqua foundation in 10 beige & chanel rouge allure velvet in l’infidele.

this foundation is so wonderful. to be honest, I did not believe the hype, but loads of people that I normally agree with on youtube were saying how brilliant it is, so I went & got a sample. & then another sample. so I finally cracked & went into the pop-up chanel store in covent garden to pick it up. it smells so luxurious, feels so wonderful & my sensitive skin loves it. it has plenty coverage for me, but I am pale & have fairly good skin, so it may not be like that for everyone. it's hydrating, but has a matte finish since there is apparently powder within it & leaves my skin very, very soft. it basically feels airbrushed. so nice.

as for the lipstick, this is apart of the fashion night out twin set that chanel put out. I really don't follow makeup collections, but when I was getting the foundation, I swatched this & fell in love. I left the shop, went to my class & googled loads of reviews & then went back to buy it a few hours later. yup. I'm crazy. it's wonderfully matte, without being too drying (which I have a problem with normally). the colour is pretty unique, I think. most reviews I've seen that have given dupes don't seem to be that true, in my opinion. at any rate, I don't have anything like this. very excited to have a nice lipstick to wear on a day to day basis (my other chanel is a classic red that I bought in paris - gorgeous but not for everyday). x
