i love how one of the biggest themes in the show and the movies is that kirk is in love with the enterprise and that the enterprise is the only lady for him and is his only real love

ok but if we analyze that and do follow his hair lenght through time, it means he had a stress level peak in 1862 with the whole holy water shtick, that kept up through the 40s and until the 60s, where he finally started slowly allowing his hair longer and longer once he “made up” with aziraphale, getting more relaxed until the whole armaggedon’t stuff where he cut everything off again
