This tt pressed tf outta me bc yes I did get into hockey at first bc I saw a random edit of them on my fyp so me being a curious person did some investigating on who they are and I figured out they played hockey and started watching their games and then I was like oh shit I actually really really love this sport and so I studied up on it and everything and obviously now it is my sport and I will always love my sport bc of the sharks culture and everything locker room culture and all so I commented on this post just let people like the sport oh my then I got attacked for my comment.

The author replied to me and said lol u definitely only watch hockey because of them and so I said yes I did but I have genuinely enjoyed the sport and have studied up on it and learned literally every single thing abt the sport then I get attacked by another person in the comment section said it’s just annoying when people act like they are lifelong fans from just knowing mack and will I jsut feel like everyone should respect everyone who fell in love w the sport but originated from loving mack and will I hate the hockey community sometimes bc some people just don’t leave new watchers alone it makes me sad and does not make me feel welcome at all when I have genuinely grown to love my sport and not larped and pretended to love it

Can someone back me up on this like is this valid or nah?

People on hockeytwt frustrate me frfr I saw a post that said exactly this “No you cannot call your nhl team woke when the organization is in the middle of a sexual assault lawsuit just bc you want two of the players to fuck.” So I was curious abt this bc obviously it’s abt my lovely team sharks and the case was abt the Jr. team sharks coach and they came to a settlement of 4.6 million and went to trial for it and everything. All I can say is do your research everyone!!! Just bc Mack and will are on my team and not yours be motherfriggen jealous.
