The golden ring certainly looked pretty, but it was far too large for Dixie's finger. Or her wrist, even. It couldn’t have been lying around here for too long; it looked a bit too new, especially compared to the bleak surroundings. Dixie had no real use for something like this, but she was considering just slipping it into her rucksack for now--maybe Candy would find a use for it back home--but she stopped when she noticed someone walking by, seemingly searching for something.

"Oh--hey! Did you drop this, by any chance?" she asked, holding up the ring.

Dixie couldn't help but frown a bit. "Gee, Mayor... seems like you've been doing nothing but running errands all day, ook ook."

"Is there anything I can help out with? I'm not particularly busy right now." Not that Dixie, or even most of the animals in the village were ever ‘particularly busy’ with anything important, but still. She'd lend a helping hand, if needed.

"That’s a great idea, DK!" It probably wouldn't have sounded “great” to anyone else. After all, it did seem a bit reckless. Dangerous, even. But with the option to spend another uneventful day on DK Island or to go along with this little harebrained scheme, Dixie was all too eager to choose the latter. "So, what's the first step?"

And yes, go for it! As far as I can tell, the DK rp fandom is pretty much non-existent. I went from one extremely tiny fandom to being literally the only person in another, lmao
