An exciting week in the land of Uke, can just about handle the delights of Blitzkrieg Bop thanks to Chili Monster and I've signed up for UU+.  Still having fun!

Muppet on a string

...and then the strings arrived, good bit of multitasking, tell the old drear how to put a pic into her Christmas letter while restrining the device.  As advertised the string change has improved the sound, well at least until I play the thing....

And then it arrived...

OK so the Uke appears, strings and tuner to follow.  A tiny thing of joy and irritation.  Could do with the snark because I'm lousy at tuning by ear.

Begining to get an unhealthy obsession with this Modern English number as a result of the Nouvelle Vague cover.

And then there was the uke...

So a black Mahalo U30 is ordered from Purple Turtle, add some Aquila strings (reviews indicate this is a wise move) courtesy of Craigs Music and a Snark tuner from Sheet Music Station (Oh the wonders of ebay).  This is all in the quest to be able to play some sort of musical instrument.
