Rather, it always has been one of them, but it will become their torch bearer as the GOP loses political significance. There is no changing the system from within. Friday, May 20th @ 8:50pm in Albany, NY at the intersection of State St and Pearl. A member of Black Lives Matter's Upstate New York chapter stops to film a traffic stop. Two Black motorists aboard a red moped are detained, and a total of five white uniformed officers eventually arrive on the scene. After being verbally insulting to the BLM member filming, the officer points to the camera and says to the motorist "You can thank this guy for giving you all your tickets right now, buddy." The officer proceeds to give the motorist what appears to be three tickets. Please share this for those in denial of how Albany police officers antagonize and engage with the local Black community.
