When you have a collection of happy memories from a relationship, let it be enough reason to give the imminent tough times a fair fight. Withdrawal seems to be the instantaneous defense mechanism in today’s society. Problems cloud our vision and perspective; consequently, forgetting how good a relationship has gotten and how much better it can get. We have failed to let relationships develop into a full bloom when we don’t fight harder and longer for the things worth fighting for. Bare in mind that a flower can’t reach the beauty it was meant to carry if it is unable to withstand the occasional rain. So if it’s worth keeping, stay. Don’t let lack of effort be the reason why a good thing slipped out of your fingertips. Throughout your life, everyone will tell you to have no remorse, that all losses and lessons learned will direct you to something better - & I won’t reject this - but somewhere in your subconscious is where your significant regrets will remain. This spot is easy to overlook but when it’s searched for, it’s easy to find.

Very flattered to have receive flowers today! It came as a complete surprise. It was extremely thoughtful and such a sweet gesture. I don’t do well with romance or sweet gestures like this but it was really nice and I was drawn back by it. It did put a smile on my face, I am a girl that loves flowers - even though I may not be the most elated person on these types of things. I have a guy’s mentality as some of my friends put it. This guy definitely shows more of his heart than I do. Sooooo sweet!!!
