I am so blessed to have access to the fully restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that I am a choice daughter of God and that he knows my name, and loves me. I will continue to strive to be worthy of His love and blessings.

I’ve been very anxious as I’ve been preparing for some upcoming changes in my life, but yesterday I was able to attend the temple with @mskeabs and while I was there my loving Heavenly Father soothed my nerves, and quoted my fears. This is something that I have struggled with all my life. I have a tendency to just disappear for a day or two when I’m upset about something, not just to sort out what I’m feeling about the situation, but also to avoid causing irreparable damage to my relationship with the people I love. Last night I was talking to a dear friend of mine, and she asked me how I manage to smile and be kind in the face of heartbreak, betrayal, and my depression. I didn’t have a very eloquent answer, but then I found this quote. It can be hard to let go of feelings of discouragement, hate, and inferiority, but the peace that comes from learning to laugh through the tears is so worth it. I am so blessed to have the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life, and learn of His atoning sacrifice for me very day that I’m here.
