So tonight I had a bit of a breakdown while I was working (I'm a dog trainer, walker and sitter). I'd popped in to see this little lady and give her a bit of company while her owner was out and was having a bit of a tough time and feeling rather down. I was sat on the chair staring into space, crying and shaking. So I moved to the floor to stop myself shaking and she came and tried to lick me. I wasn't particularly responsive so she laid down next to me. She never does that. It made me smile. Dogs just know...
