Wow, I haven’t posted here in almost a decade. I’ve been focusing on other things, but Keir Dullea has been on my mind from time to time. Amazing and versatile actor with an incredible life story and is a genuinely kind person. I always had a great time whenever I see him in real life. The last time I saw him was just last year at an event in LA.
Coming back to this account, I’m amazed how many people continue to find this blog and appreciate its contents. I guess that is the testament of Keir Dullea’s performance in Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey.” This is a film that will always be on the public’s mind because of how iconic it is. Because of this movie, fans become curious about Keir Dullea and subsequently his other works in movies like “David and Lisa,” “Bunny Lake is Missing,” “Black Christmas,” and many others. And of course, many of those fans end up finding this blog. Happy to know that people still appreciate it after all these years. Many thanks!
Also, I’d like to say that @michiruze is one of the most passionate Keir Dullea fans in recent years. I’m amazed how deep she explored his works and life. Plus, she is an amazing artist. She also made an impressive master list of Keir’s works. This is a must for the aficionados! Check it out here: https://www.tumblr.com/michiruze/725733692570583040/the-keir-dullea-masterlist
Today is also Keir Dullea’s 89th birthday (May 30th). Wishing him a wonderful day with Mia Dillon, his friends and family. I’m sure his fans are celebrating too!
