Just passing the time until season 4 on my Split River Tamodachii Life island (definitely an idea I saw someone else do and couldn’t resist). Had to have my 7 year old do that hard for no reason mini game and Mally are finally married in at least one universe, besides fanfic of course. 😂🙌🏻

So I started the series from the beginning last night (I love to rewatch stuff, it is comforting to me).

Anyway, in episode 1 when Maddie is having flashbacks about Xavier trying to figure things out, they are in the locker room making out and he stops her to say “I really like you, Maddie Nears.”

Which is such an interesting juxtaposition to Wally’s “I love you, Maddie Nears” in S3.

Not only is it a testament to their bond, but also the “when you know, you know” nature of love. Also, the difference between an actual teenage boy who is hedging his bets, unsure about someone, preoccupied, and a “teenage boy” who has had 40 years to mature and realize that time is precious and you should just say the thing.

Also, love how after they had their beautiful, cinematic spin hug moment Maddie punched Wally because 1) Girl, valid and also 2) Milo Manheim stays getting punched in everything he acts in. To the point where I am wondering if it’s a kink of his and he insists on it being in the script before he takes a role.

The only exceptions are his character in Platonic (who deserved it), and the elevator guy from the “Feather” video, who got a way worse fate but that’s just the Sabrina-verse. 😂

Not a criticism of the show, just something I noticed. I understand why they put Maddie in her OG ghost outfit for wandering in the woods, thematically and visually-for the audience.

Logically, however…that’s just your ghost outfit forever? Like, if Maddie dies in 20 years, does she reset to that combo no matter what? 🤔

Petition for Maddie and Wally to get like an hour long “death mulligan” (no matter what needs to happen for the plot to remain intact) so they can live this for real. 🥵😭
