I used to be on Tumblr all of the time, somehow grew an impressive 30k following for just being myself and letting people into my world + sharing pretty pictures. It has been awhile, lol. Since I really stopped blogging on tumblr, I’ve been successfully running an online boutique for nearly 3 years, now have 2 kids, am still married to that guy I used to bitch a lot about for going on 6 years ;), and now have an actual blog where I am partnering with massive brands to actually make money & turn blogging into a second business for myself. I guess the point is, I got a lot of shit for “wasting” hours & hours on Tumblr in high school, college, and a little after too. However, this little blog that sparked my love for connecting with people on social media and really was my first outlet for being open, vulnerable, and speaking my truth even when shit sucked has kind of led to the opportunites I have today. SO for anyone who still is on here, as I fear a lot of my 30k followers are now as inactive as I am on tumblr, ignore the haters, follow your dreams, & chase that passion.
