I hate resolutions because all it's ever been is me saying I wanna change something and then working on it for three weeks and finally giving up when one thing goes wrong. Everyone says they're supposed to better you, and yet, all I've ever gotten out of them is stressed. I wanna try one this year, though, I guess. 

I wanna try to better myself as a person, as a wife, and as a mother. I want to stop living in the past and dwelling on the sad things.

I think I can do this, especially since I've never been as happy as I am in this very moment.

It sounds like a load of shit, honestly. But, I know what I need to change. I need to stop being judgmental. I need to stop isolating myself. I need to stop hurting myself. I need to stop staying up so late that the sad things get to me. 

This year is time for me to actually grow up and realize that I'm not as fucked up as I've come to believe I am.
