Uhh hi people of Tumblr! :D I’m uhh I’m Kemi and uhh here’s a bunch of Inktober 2025 stuff I made and I’ll just put them here in case I do something with it in the future (maybe). Other than that, I guess I could comment on each of them… uhh just for funzies.
(Also English is not my first language 😔 so there might be some weird grammar, spelling, or phrases here and there so pls don’t mind them. pls)
5 days in October and I realize I really really REALLY wanted to join inktober 1) I was bored 2) i was very bored 3) very awesome commitment test
So l did a every ‘quick’ sketch (which ended up taking like.. 3 hours🙂↕️) and almost destroyed both of my hands (bc I overestimated my coloring skills) idk with this one, I remember just wanted to draw something very fast and furry without it being too furry (bc of my room mate) and fun and uhh awesome first day really 👍👍👍
At first this was initially going to be a super epic demon lord Tom riddle before my yt recommendation recommended svsss mid draw which I believe is when i started drifting away from the main theme and the thing ended up becaming this cringe super evil super red chinese cultivation demon lord Tom riddle guy instead. (See that deathly hollow thing on his forehead?yeah…) yikes.
POV when you specifically told your guardian you wanted to be a vampire this year.
(Tbh with a theme like that it’s impossible not to think of SpongeBob)
This piece is a really special one cause it marks the beginning of my suffering. Aka when i realize I could use this opportunity to improve my…background drawing skills🙂↕️ uhhh so in my head it’s basically went like:
“if I draw every day maybe I’ll improve..? Every single day for the rest of Inktober… maybe in the end I’ll be able to draw magically amazing god-tier Chainsaw Man-level backgrounds🤩… maybe…”
(I was very delusional)
It was a very big mistake.
I had fun (no it was not fun) thinking out of the box with this one.
Turns out somewhat alright I think.
(Yeah I drew 100-ishh versions of Tom’s eyes before I became overwhelmed with all the possibilities and did a 180° big brain move leaving it blank for you guys to visualize)
Thought it would be funny drawing Harry getting swept under a rug lol.
Btw this is loosely (very) inspired by the cover art of 「日々ごっこ」by 草凪みずほ
Believe it or not, this was my first ever colored Voldemort (wait no, it’s the second time actually cause the first one was me making fun of his bald head)
Anyhow random art tip: when in doubt just slap your character in the middle of the ocean doing some random stuff and draw clouds or something 100% artist proof
Kept thinking about how many times Tom must’ve faced rejection. Ever since he was young no one adopted him—time and time again he got turned away. Tom waited so long for nothing to happen…
I think I was half asleep drawing this one, maybe that’s why Harry’s hair is purple.
Harry the vampire hunter vs Tom the vampire before getting isekai’d by truck-kun into the MLP universe.
(Yeah I was definitely half asleep during this one too so when I gain consciousness again Tom was already half red)
Random art tip: Want to make something important pop out just enough without making it too obvious? uhh just color the thing in red no one will notice 99% of the time.
