Suikoden III is great BUT

Guys, instead of wording it like “Why Suikoden III is better than Suikoden II” or whatever other game, better go with “Why Suikoden III is very enjoyable”.

Because, really, you are not making anyone like Suikoden III more by hating on their fav installment X_D Also, it is very “unfair” comparing sprites games with 3D models games, among other things. There are just too many differences between them to judge by comparing them… and you are definitely dismissing their own contexts, which is the actual frame where you should be judging.

Really, don’t go badmouthing what people like and don’t “scold” them for not feeling as attracted to Suikoden III as you would like, and instead talk about the good things you think Suikoden III has if you want to motivate people to play it.

As for myself, maybe one day I’ll make a proper review of each game… briefly speaking, I loved the characters design in general, of course I got attached to some of the new guys and I loved the role of most of the returning characters, but I couldn’t enjoy playing Suikoden III as much as the others for many reasons (mostly the gameplay). Still, I love it as much as part of the series plot and lore as the others (AND I think it’s the one that reveals the more in-game info out of the saga, which is great because most of the extra info about any Japanese RPG is only in Japanese and difficult to access even if you do speak it).
