“I was gonna say CSI, but it’s giving out my having old people tastes, isn’t it?” He chuckled, shaking his head quickly, all the while keeping the grin on his face. “I’m even more psyched that they wanted me to rehash a previous character. Sometimes you don’t get that continuity. How have you been enjoying filming here, though? is it your second year, now?”

legs spread out in front of her, ellie leaned over one and stretched as she stared at her phone out of the corner of her eye. she and kendall had been waiting for his partner for twenty minutes now, and so far she hadn’t even sent a text saying she wasn’t coming. finally, her phone chirped a notification and ellie moved her stretch to the center, holding her phone as she propped herself up on her forearms. letting out a sigh, she pushed her legs together again and spun to face kendall. “well, she’s not coming. i guess i’ll stand in for her today.” // @kendalltaggart

It hadn’t necessarily been an uncomfortably silent wait for all of the last twenty minutes, but there had been a slight heaviness to the atmosphere he wasn’t really used to. Specially not when it came to his roommate. Kendall stopped trying to fix his headband, gaze falling back towards his current teacher, and made a conscious effort not to swallow too audibly. It was... simply a very quiet room. “Yeah, I mean -- you’re the expert. As long as you’re still able to nitpick me when I’m spinning you around and throwing you up on these desks.” The smile spread nearly from ear to ear, and he bowed at the waist before holding a hand out. “If you’ll do me the honors.”

“someone tweeted me asking if i stole you from lizzie’s actress like leah stole t.j. from lizzie,” parker said, bemused smirk on her face. she glanced up at kendall, arching an eyebrow. “is there something you wanna tell me? am i actually the homewrecker the tabloids have made me out to be?” @kendalltaggart

“I wouldn’t want the burden to go on to you if I fell hook, line and sinker, sugarplum,” Kendall retorted quickly, nose wrinkling slightly as he tested the new nickname out loud. One hand extended towards the girl’s delicate wrist, two fingers resting almost intimately on her pulse point, his entire body leaning towards hers. “Maybe we should take a picture with Vienna and hashtag it Three’s Company? Or something?” His voice dropped, the slightest of smiles playing on his lips as he hammed it up for the cameras not-so-discreetly notified of their location.

“alright, that’s a good limit. i can work with that,” harry mused, holding out a hand to see whether or not she was shaking. “i think i’m actually good for now. huh. maybe i can afford a few more coffees before it has too much of a detrimental effect on me.” that was probably a terrible way of looking at it but to be fair, harry had just had three cups of extremely caffeinated coffee; she probably wasn’t thinking logically anyway. “i’ve been super busy here, but i was up all last night streaming on youtube and twitch. gotta give the fans what they want, right?”

“I mean, if you’re working as a surgeon, I would recommend the shaky hands being your stopping point. Just to be safe. Or a person that works on building miniatures.” He smiled, showing off most of his teeth in the gesture, and absent-mindedly tapped his fingers against the nearest chair. “I get that, no, I really do - it’s just... have you factored in sleeping into all of that? Caffeine can only take you so far on the long run. Which was not very far at all according to Nightmare on Elm Street but here I’m guessing Jason’s not after you.”

“ KENDALL, you know you can’t resist me,” kat replied, her teeth glistened brightly in the sunlight as she smiled widely at her costar. she noted the color on his cheeks, taking his hand as he helped her. “out-weigh a polar bear, huh? i hope that’s not a fat joke. oh, wait. you mean, like, to break the ice. i get it now.” she tapped temple in reference to her sudden understanding. “yeah, yeah. you know how much i care about publicists and all that – man, would you look at that view?”

“If I didn’t know you any better, I’d say you just like getting others mixed up in trouble.” His smile was empty of any accusation, head tilted slightly to one side to accommodate her responses. “The polar bear never fails to keep it rolling, I think. That - this never gets old, you know? Even if you’ve been up here before year after year -- the city never really looks the same, no matter how small it appears to be. Right? Or is it your first time?” His eyebrows arched up, curiosity plain across his face, one hand awkwardly hovering over the girl’s shoulder.
